Scrub-a-Dub...Twitter Takes a Bath

I don't know if GA can take the credit, but...

Yesterday we posted a TWEET from the Hoboken Chamber of Commerce's President Mike Novak, that undermines the organization he leads:
Hoboken Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement:
Our emphasis is in promoting and advancing the commercial, professional, industrial, and civic interest of the community. The chamber will also lobby local, county, state and federal government to protect the interests of the city.
  • Does trashing the leadership of Hoboken "protect the interests of the city"?
  • Does attacking the Mayor in a dishonest message "advance" the "civic interest of the community"?
I guess Novak agrees with Grafix Avenger because he pulled the TWEET.  It's GONE.

Scub-a-dub.

NOW YOU SEE IT (yesterday):

NOW YOU DON'T (today):

Well, you can say one thing about Beth  Mason, Michael Russo, et al: they stand by their own duplicity.

Shine a light on Novak's and...

  1. Saw a great comment on Patch.

Instead of running the city down every chance they get like they are trying to get business away from Hoboken, how about the Chamber of Commerce say a few words about the budget surplus. What is more vital to the fiscal health of the city? Surplus reduces borrowing costs. Higher costs means higher taxes, means the price of doing business goes up.

I'm tired of hearing people say they work with the administration just for the sake of saying it. Prove it for once.

  3. Love the grphics, as ususal. But I have to believe the screaming, yelling and cursing that has occurred becasue of your expose is hysterical! Drat , curses, foiled once again by the dastardly Grafix Avenger! Twice, now, you have pantsed this putz in the middle of Washington Street. The best part is that he is such a moron that he plays Charlie Brown to Lame's Lucy, and keeps kicking at the football, just to fall flat on his back, yet again. When will he learn? Let's hope never, for the sheer entertainment of it all.
