People of good faith can disagree on the January 25th Ballot Referendum. And they are.
People of good faith can come to different conclusions with the same set of facts. And they are.
People of good faith have the right to know that a partisan political party organization ideologically hostile to public education is fomenting division in Hoboken in a carefully planned, secretly funded, media juggernaut. This is a political operation claiming to be "grassroots."
Why haven't they reported their contributions and expenditures to NJ-ELEC?
The lack of transparency is astounding. The "paid for by the Hoboken Republican Party" is written so small it can only be read with the Hubble telescope.
Bottom line: a political party hostile to public funding of public education has been driving the "Vote No" train; you are getting the "facts" that they want you to know from the FOX NEWS campaign of Hoboken.
You may not support this referendum. That is your right; your vote is sacred.
But understand how ONE political machine is using you to fulfill larger partisan ideological goals in our municipality. The Hoboken Democratic Party has not entered this election, not spent a dime, nor tried to exert influence.
This divisive "torches and pitchforks" shitstorm is owned by the Hoboken MAGA party. And they are funding "Vote NO" in the dark.
So, good people on both sides, call for transparency. Understand who is trying to influence your vote, and make sure that you well-informed, not plied with partisan propaganda.
