An irate Hoboken parent just forwarded this message texted to his teenager. With his permission, I am publishing it as a warning to Hoboken parents that their children may be receiving unsolicited political propaganda from the "Independently Together" slate on their cell phones!
It is unclear how or why the "Independently Together" slate is spamming the cell phones of Hoboken children. As a mother to a Hoboken teen, this is disturbing. Children should not be harassed by adult politicians. The offending candidates, Cheryl Fallick and Sheila Brennan, have collectively borrowed $10,000 for their campaign--- adequate to pay for a mailer. Why, instead, have they chosen to spam Hoboken teenagers?
Parents, be on the lookout.
