The death of Jersey City Ward D Councilman Michael Yun was broken this afternoon by Mayor Steve Fulop on Twitter, and reported by John Heinis.
Apparently Yun died from complications related to COVID-19. He'd been hospitalized at Jersey City Medical Center two weeks ago, and was "on oxygen" in their ICU.
My deepest condolences to Councilman Yun's family, his many friends, and our Jersey City neighbors. RIP, Mr. Yun.

Coronavirus is insidious and arbitrary. Everyone needs to be wearing a mask/face cover out in public. I have observed most are, but not all.
