We received your RSVP and look forward to seeing you on February 27, 2020, for the screening of WOMAN introducing Shirael Pollack.
This film is a documentary about a first-generation Jewish-American immigrant who lives by a simple motto: a living is what you get, life is what you give. Despite cultural norms, societal expectations, entrepreneur successes, and personal tragedies, Shirael's life, and work is an ongoing story of resilience despite all odds. Presented by Trending50 and set against the stunning backdrop of Hoboken New Jersey, "Woman" is an emotionally complex, visually luminous examination of a 21st Century Woman.
The Trending50 team has been hard at work since we filmed in Hoboken last May and are excited to share approximately 30 minutes of the documentary with you.
There will be light refreshments, introductions by our Award Winning Director Timothy James Kay and Dylan Pollack with a short question and answer time after the screening.
There is no charge as Trending50 appreciates all of your support during the filming and in the future, as we take the film to festivals across the United States.
The doors open at 6.30 pm.
There will be two screenings: 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm.
