UPDATE #3: Ruben's RENT for "Suite 209 at HBC"

UPDATE #3:
My reliable source is back! With numbers for Ramos for City Council rent at the Hoboken Business Center.
"$500 for 1/2 September.
$1000 for October
$500 for 1/2 November"
More:

"It's a single office within a cluster of small offices. They rent for $1000 per month. Deposit on his personal credit card and the campaign paid him back."

UPDATE #2:
GA's reliable source was mistaken; Ramos for City Council headquarters is in Suite 209 at the Hoboken Business Center.  The source sent this pic:

Nice digs!  And a private suite!

You know, it is confusing to keep up with Ramos For Council's campaign office addresses.

The Councilman's Financial Disclosure forms lists Ramos For Council at 107 Jefferson, his latest mailer 'paid for' language has Ramos For Council located somewhere in Jersey City, and today it's at the Hoboken Business Center.  Where will it be tomorrow?

UPDATE:
According to a reliable source, Ramos has allegedly rented a cubicle at 89 Hudson, across the street from the PATH.   GA doesn't doubt that my source was told that.

Makes sense... a cubicle in the First ward for an election in the Fourth.

Thanks to the reader who caught this yesterday on Ramos' 29-Day Pre-Election Report..

Ramos for Council is reimbursing Ramos for Council $500 for their "campaign office."

What "campaign office?"

According to Ramos' Financial Disclosure Form, Ramos for Council is located at 107 Jefferson Street- his home. Actually according to his financial disclosure forms, he has zero interest in any real property in the State of New Jersey.

RUBEN RAMOS FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE FORM

107 Jefferson is a 3,000 square foot, private semi-attached home owned by Ruben Ramos' parents.  It was built in 1985, sold for $115K.  It's worth almost $2M in today's market.  Ramos for Council  has Vision Media designing and mailing campaign lit. What exactly is this "office" he is paying himself rent for from tax-free campaign contributions?

Why not dip into his coffers and pay himself more?  $1,000, $2,000 what the heck.  Team mates Jen Giattino and Tiffanie Fisher won't say a word. Together with Ramos and DeFusco, they've tabled Doyle/Jabbour's Pay-to-Play legislation.  That's Teamwork!

  1. Question if the family of a candidate organizes a politic event for their relative (think 40 seniors on a bus to Atlantic City where they get political buttons, lit and snacks with their relative's ballot number emblazoned on them and once the bus is moving extorted to vote their relative) should that appear on the candidate's ELEC report ?

  2. It does not read that he is paying rent. If Ramos fronted a deposit for office space n the 1st Ward like Rami did when he ran for 4th Ward it's understandable. It's expensive and the 4th ward doesn't have office buildings a plenty. The expenditure above in no way say "Rent" it could have been printer paper, pens etc...Why focus on this petty speculation. If one wants Lisa to win this ain't the magic bullet.

    1. if it was pens or paper it would of been tagged "office supplies" and had a receipt from Staples etc....Some office space does exist down here - he could of gotten a space at the Hoboken Business Center.....i do agree ANON that this is no magic bullet, but something is a little rotten in Denmark, I mean, the 4th Ward

    4. "idiot" really Anon? It is a VERY easy google - found a spot for $660....Wanna rent it for Ruben? It is only a little more then the rent he has listed and he can easily write off such a small adjustment that would pass all the sniff tests:

    5. DeFusco disbursed a couple of thousand directly to 89 Hudson LLC (not to HIMSELF) for office rent. DIRECTLY.

You're saying that the owner of Mission 50, developer Greg Dellaquila (sp?) couldn't rent the same "cubicle" to Ruben at the Hudson Business Center? Yeah, sure. Looks like Bankrobber found one online with no problem. I'm sure a phone call from Ruben would get one with a better view, possibly at a deep discount. Instead, he pays himself 500 bucks for a "cubicle" in the First Ward. Why not support a Fourth ward business, like Mission 50?

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, quacks like a duck it's not a kangaroo.

    6. Isn't the the Hoboken Business Center right next to the thirteen story residential condo tower that First Ward City Councilman went to Jersey City ZBA to advocate for it to be built on the already traffic snarled at the intersection of Harrison -Newark next to the NJT overpass ?

    7. Yes. Good point. The developer of the 13-story tower right at the Jersey City-4th ward border is the owner of Mission 50. But Ruben could only find a "cubicle" in the First Ward.

    8. The listing there is old. And the agent featured no longer works at HBC. It also has a minimum 1 year lease. This is not the magic bullet Lisa needs.
As for that highrise, it's a damn shame Ravi wouldn't send the city lawyers and planners to oppose the tower on the border. It's not like Bhalla has his political meetings at HBC or the owners don't attend Ravi's events or anything like that... :P

    9. If Ramos rented at HBC, you guys would be accusing him of pushing for that highrise, if he rents somewhere else, you attack him for that too. Maybe if Dawn didn't block commercial development and more office spaces were built both Ruben and LISA could afford their own offices. Coming soon: Egg yolk on Face PT2.

    10. We are now up to a third office address as the Ramos mailers have a"Paid For by Ramos For Council" have a Jersey City address....

  3. It is good to remember who Ruben's friends have been over the years.
Like Hoboken political players Peter Cammarano, Christopher Campos and Frank Raia.
