In outer space, no one can hear you scream or violate Hoboken Pay-to-Play law |
Well, today it arrived: Michael DeFusco for Hoboken City Council's 29-Day Pre-Election ELEC and the cash receipts he reported are outta-this-world. Moreover, a substantial number of donors have contributed in excess of Hoboken's Pay-to-Play ordinance $500 limit. To be exact, in order to comply with Hoboken's law, Mike DeFusco has to refund $22,600 to the ones on this report.
But that's not all....
Hoboken's Pay-to-Play ordinance mandates penalties of 4 times the amount of the excess contribution to be paid to Hoboken Municipal Court! In Michael DeFusco's case, per this 29-DAY PRE-ELECTION report that is $22,600 X 4 = $90,400!
DeFusco owes the City of Hoboken $90,400.

Oooooh, Tiffanie! CHECK IT OUT!
I've made it easy for you to file your next pay-to-Play letter of complaint against Michael DeFusco. Oh, wait... that's right. You've allied with him, so you don't give a crap. Nor does Giattino. Not since you both crossed over to the Dark Side, and tabled Pay-to-Play legislation for your Dark Side buddies, Mike and Ruben.
Yep, this report shows more of the same from Councilman DeFusco. To date, his total receipts are $96,938.59 and total expenditures are $81,673.27!
For this period alone, his campaign reported $28,850.91 in receipts and $46,887 in expenditures. What's he spending it all on? (Certainly not banners-- no one in Hoboken wants to hang them.)
Take a look!
MICHAEL DEFUSCO FOR HOBOKEN CITY COUNCIL
29-DAY PRE-ELECTION REPORT
Looks more than a little sketchy
ReplyDeleteI doubt anyone on the Vision Media slate that DeFusco is a part of will care. None of them have an ounce of integrity.
ReplyDeleteImagine MDF's bank would be if he didn't have to give away Frank Raia's tainted $10K and was able to take even more cash from him
ReplyDeleteLOCK HIM UP!!!
