Betrayal: Jen Giattino 'allegedly' complains about "lack of development in Hoboken"

HUDSON COUNTY BUILDING TRADES MEETING MINUTES

What's the answer for this?

At a recent meeting of the Hudson County Building Trades, the Hudson County Building Trades Council President, Pat Kelleher, was recorded as follows in the meeting minutes:

"Pat Kelleher reported on on a recent meeting with Hoboken Councilwoman Jen Giatano (sp) where she expressed her disgust with Mayor Bahlla (sp) on his lack of development in Hoboken..."

Then First Ward Councilman Michael DeFusco spoke at the meeting.

The Minutes record that DeFusco cited a litany of Hoboken projects: "including The Monarch residential, Nuemann Leather Residential, New Jersey Transit L-Core, Pegasus and Union Dry Dock" that had been "scaled back or are in litigation to be stopped because of past and present administrations  that current Mayor Ravi Bahalla(sp) have been a part of."

Chew on that! There's more:

"Councilman DeFusco stated that he has always been proud of being affiliated with the Hudson County Building Trades and helped in securing approvals and Project Labor Agreements for the Stevens Academic Building, Stevens Dorms and Hilton Hotel."

A Ward Councilman purports to have "helped secure approvals and Project Labor Agreements" at a Hudson County Building Trades meeting, to bash the Hoboken mayor and shake a tin cup?  Escorted by his campaign managers.  Okay...

  1. I always had a feeling that the only reason Jen ran for mayor was to be a spoiler for Mike. At the time few people thought she had any chance of winning, she didn't and her half hearted campaign didn't even generate enough support to win her own Ward.
When I see how again her close working relationship with Mike while trying to keep it on the down low and another half hearted campaign I think I was correct.
