Wow, look at Hoboken's final vote counts for Hudson County Executive!
Hoboken's own Patricia Waiters put in a surprisingly strong performance against Hudson County's Machine incumbent Tom DeGise- even tying him in two Hoboken districts, and beating him in another!
What did the Waiters campaign spend per vote compared with DeGise? (I don't know. Less.)
FIRST WARD- 155 (tg) 42 (pw)
SECOND WARD- 165 86
THIRD WARD- 143 75
FOURTH WARD- 202 74
FIFTH WARD- 157 79
SIXTH WARD- 113 71
Waiters got the most votes in Hoboken's 2nd Ward (Fisher) and the least in the 1st Ward (DeFusco).
DeGise got the most votes in Hoboken's 4th Ward (Ramos) and the least in the 6th Ward (Giattino).

I actually find the number of votes Patty gets in elections pretty frightening. In a world that elected Donald Trump, we no longer have the liberty to be entertained by the success of lunatic fringe candidates with a history of hateful rhetoric.
