WOW! Hoboken wins 2019 NJ Future's "Smart Growth Award!" (no thanks to AWOL DeFusco)

This is a big deal, people! What an honor.  Our City has won New Jersey Future's 2019 "Smart Growth Award" for Hoboken's Master Plan Re-Examination report.

Read about all it here  and/or watch this short video:

Hoboken's got a terrific Planning Board --including former Planning Commissioner Gary Holtzman, who earlier this year was cruelly and sadistically tossed off the Planning Board by 2nd Ward Councilwoman  Tiffanie Fisher, and her vindictive anti-administration council co-horts! Shame on them.

Note, former Planning Board Commissioner Mike DeFusco deserves no credit- and he shall receive none!

DeFusco, appointed to the Board in a 2018 power-sharing backdoor deal with Tiffanie Fisher, Jen Giattino, Peter Cunningham and Ruben Ramos (Team Ramos), missed 8 out of 18 Planning Board meetings!  Note, of those 8 absences, DeFusco blew off Special Meetings for both Stevens and the Master Plan Re-examination.   True story.

Reapeat: Mike DeFusco blew off Hoboken's Master Plan Re-examination Special Meeting- the Re-Examination Report that earned the "Smart Growth Award."  Therefore, the First Ward councilman did not work for this award. So, when the First Ward Councilman  tries to glom credit for it (he will) please recite this haiku:

First ward councilman
wears empty suit and
takes pay-to-play loot

  1. If the man is too busy to show up for almost half the meetings, he never should have been put on the board. He should have had the level of self-awareness to pass on this appointment and let a more qualified candidate serve. Heck, a homeless bum with a pulse is more qualified than DeFusco b/c they at least will show up for the free coffee.
