21,500 e-scooter rides in week#1 "Hoboken had highest ridership of Lime's global market"

Wear your helmet, Stan.

Wow. Who knew that Lime e-Scooters popularity in Hoboken would set a world record? According to a Lime press release, it has.

Considering the astounding success of e-scooters in Hoboken, GA hopes that after the 6-month trial period, our City can tap this success in a profitable way.   Ka-ching. Ka-ching.

No, I have not tried one yet. But, there is one thing in common with every e-scooter rider that I have seen: a big smile.

Ride safely, people. Unfortunately, (see above) Hoboken's former First Man has set a bad example for sharing a scooter with his wife without a helmet.  Please Stan, next time you go for a ride, wear your helmet.

One more thing: have you heard of a "Lime-Juicer?"

It's an open-employment program for folks with spare time: you get paid by scooter for charging them, and for moving them to an e-scooter 'hub.'  I believe the pay is $4 per charge, and $2 per move- easy money.  And an excellent way for kids to subsidize their allowance.  The parents of Hoboken thank you, LIME!
