Marine View Residents! MUST-ATTEND MEETING TONIGHT!

URGENT for all Marine View Plaza residents:

A VERY, VERY, VERY important meeting is being held TONIGHT at 7PM sharp in MVP's community room!  The agenda is of critical importance: the recent fires (two in December) and safety inspections of the buildings' heating/cooling units.

Please note, the City of Hoboken is NOT hosting this meeting. Tonight's meeting was scheduled by Marine View Plaza building management with special guests: Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla,  Fire Chief Brian Crimmins and selected public officials.  First Ward Councilman Mike DeFusco was not selected.

As a matter of public safety, it is imperative that all Marine View residents are there for these critical updates.

Some MVP residents have requested that the City provide pizza and croissants for the dinnertime meeting. Sadly, they were informed that their Councilman, Mike DeFusco, refused to feed them even one crumb of pizza crust unless he was invited. Those MVP  residents replied, "We'd rather starve than have that useless tool at our meeting.  Lock him out!"

To recap, the Mayor is NOT hosting the meeting, it was called by Marine View Plaza. Hey, what a coincidence! Tonight's meeting is at exactly the same time is Michael DeFusco's 2019 Kick-Off fundraiser! Pure coincidence! Like lightning striking a lightning rod!

Some DeFusco supporters are not handling this situation well at all.  WAAAAAH!

[GA note: the Facebook post that was here was removed at the request of the Facebooker. ]

I may be a zombie blogger, but at least I believe that the safety of Marine View Plaza residents is way MORE IMPORTANT than stuffing a ward councilman's campaign coffers!

Some might say that only a zombie councilman would host a fundraiser at exactly the same time as a critical public safety meeting for HUNDREDS of his constituents.

Some might say that only a zombie councilman wouldn't care if his MVP constituents burned to a crisp in the next fire.

That's a zombie, for ya. Brains!!! Mike needs BRAINS!!!!

DeFusco people, stop your whining. If you have a problem with this meeting schedule, complain to MVP building management. It's their meeting.  It should give all of you pause that Marine View Plaza management appears to have given their councilman The Finger. A message? You big babies have to stop blaming the mayor when the sun doesn't rise fast enough or set slow enough.

Marine View Plaza residents, please. I urge you ALL to attend tonight's meeting. Did I mention that Councilman Mike DeFusco is not invited?

  1. Given his attendance record at other meetings where he is supposed to attend, it isn't like he was ever going to show up at this meeting unless he wanted to show up to make a stink.

    2. It is the residents of Marine View meeting and they get to schedule when to have it and who to invite.

  2. MDF is not a resident of MVP so him attending or not attending is a mute point.
He was not invited and only a narcissistic, attention seeking jerk would even consider going to someplace he was not wanted. OH SNAP ! That is MDF.

    2. Honestly. Get a hobby. Get a pet. Get lost.

I get it, you're a has-been. It stings. Move on. No one is interested in you or your idiocy. Your relevance, like time, has passed you by. The few who are interested in using you / talking to you are already your followers. Go talk to them / yourself.

    3. Wow...... “He doesn’t bother with this pathological lying cesspool.” And you as a disinterested third party just wanted to make sure everyone knows that? Wow.......

    4. Russo saw him for what he was an annoyance and never a threat so he ignored him. That truth will drive him insane as his ego collapse and he realizes how truly irrelevant he is.

    5. Roman Brice was a best an asterisk to the story.

      Now he is a punchline.

  4. Has to be a bad sign for DeFusco when a building with as large a voting block as Marine View on the First Ward has made it a point not to invite him to their meeting in their building.

Instead of his proxies coming here to call people names and whine for their boy, they should be asking instead what has Mikey done or not done to alienate that many residents ?

    1. That would require some reflection - hard work for his proxies. It's so much easier to blame everyone else for their inadequacies and problems.

  5. This November in the 1st Ward Council race will be interesting to say the least. MarineView residents are already signaling they do not like Mike and we know that the former Councilwoman will be working to send him on his way. Ditto for the Freeholder. Will the the monied developers, bar owners and those from outside Hoboken seeking to buy influence have enough money to buy DeFusco a win ?

    1. Yes, just like the old guard of which he is now one, Mikey can rake in lots of dough from lots of sources, like the fake ID bar owners, unions, and old ladies most of whom don't live here and can't vote here, but what he can't do as efficiently any longer is turn that cash into the VBM and other vote harvesting techniques they've used in the past, now that the feds are sprinkling indictments around town like so many windshield fliers.

  6. MDF is having a "Marineview exclusive community meeting" on February 11th at Union Hall. The letter is dated January 11th. If MV residents have to wait a month before they can discuss issues with their councilman I say he's too late.

  7. One hundred MarineView residents attended their meeting with guests Mayor Bhalla and Fire Chief Crimmins.

  8. The "residents only" would have excluded DeFuckup on any night, even if he weren't already going to be too busy entertaining his out of town guests at the Rig 'n The Ballot, the first ward's newest fundraising venue, though the choice of a first floor locale with big windows makes his guests very visible to anyone who cares to see the attendees. Guess he pissed off the folks at the Dubliner.

But [redacted] needn't get his checkbook in a knot, we've already seen how anyone can contribute any amount at any time to little Mikey's campaign, pay to play laws be damned.
