HHA Commissioner posts photos of "mayor's" family home on Twitter

CREEPY
Yikes!

It appears that on or about 11 PM last night, Michael DeFusco's former running-mate, HHA Commissioner Andrew Impastato was lurking outside a home he believed to be the Mayor's-- snapping pics and posting them on Twitter.  Impastato's photos purported to show snow and slush accumulations on the sidewalk in front of the mayor's home.

Only it wasn't the mayor's home.

The subsequent exchange between Bhalla Deputy Chief of Staff Jason Freeman and the HHA Commissioner explain Impastato's "mistake"-- he took the address off of Bhalla for Mayor campaign lit.  Yes, he assumed the campaign's mailing address on it's "paid for" verbiage was the mayor's residence.

Who walks around at 11PM with Bhalla for Mayor campaign lit in their pocket?

One can easily find the property addresses of any Hoboken homeowner on our tax accessor's web site Instead, this DeFusco ally used a political campaign address- and even produced  the image of his source on Twitter.

Wow. In my opinion, that's just creepy.

GA cannot recall political partisans lurking outside Mayor Zimmer's personal family home, nor Mayor Roberts' personal family home, nor Mayor Russo's homes, photographing them to score political points. That is something Beth Mason operatives used to do--   BoE Trustee Irene Sobolov's home was photographed by one. And Hoboken411 published photos of protests outside of then-Mayor Peter Cammarano's home, albeit in the day time.

In my opinion, if Impastato were acting in good faith, he would have simply called in the complaint ("311"). He didn't.   The harassment against this mayor is historic. Will critics be rummaging through his garbage cans next? Or use a telephoto lens to peer inside his home?   So, that is where we are. In a very dark place.

But you know, not everyone agrees. In an exchange on Twitter, hMag disagreed with my assessment that this behavior was creepy.  G-d bless the First Amendment.

Different strokes, as they say.

Oh, and the private residence posted on Twitter is the home of the mayor's brother, wife and three young sons.

  1. OK, so was he taking pictures of every single house that wasn't shoveled? If it was a single ladies address that he was posting - is that not creepy?

  2. DeFuckup and his supporters are so desperate to play gotcha, they've now officially the next generation of Mason & Bajardi style of lunatic politics.

So Impastato works for hRag now, feeding him this kind of crap to round out the pages of "Hoboken's Premier Lifestyle Magazine"?

You have to have a life before you can have a lifestyle.

  3. Councilman Michael DeFusco has surrounded himself with people who's actions and reputations makes it more and more difficult to believe his public denials that he or his campaign team did not make and distribute that infamous "terrorist" anti-Bhalla midnight flyers.
