Peter Biancamano: "the 2nd ward needs collaborative leadership..."

Today, yet another foul wind blew from a certain horse's rear; a pungent fake-news odor concerning Mayor Bhalla putting former BoE Trustee Peter Biancamano on his 2019 ticket.  Note: GA has actual sources- not voices in my head-  so I thought I'd follow up with both Biancamano and the Mayor's Office (really for shits and giggles.)

Here's the official comment from Mayor Bhalla's Office: "Peter B is not under consideration for Ravi's ticket."  (I could have told you that, but it was fun to ask.)

What about Peter B?

GA wrote: "I just read your name on Roman's trash tabloid... so, just doing a fact check.
(1)Did Brice contact you for the article?
(2)Are you (considering/ definitely/ definitely not) running in the next election cycle?
(3)Any thoughts you'd like to offer in general?"

Biancamano replied "no" to the first question. That's right, Peter was never contacted by the Horse's Ass prior to publication of today's fake-news flatulence. MSV contacted him earlier to ask whether he knew William Rojas, recently charged with VBM fraud, but was NEVER asked about his 2nd ward plans in that discussion. No matter; the Horse's Ass proceeded to publish a rumor that Peter was running on Bhalla's ticket anyway.

Biancamano gave me this statement:

"Whether Washington St. redevelopment, Union Dry Dock. the coming Rebuild by Design development etc, many in the second ward community feel neglected and ignored by our representatives.

What the second ward needs is local leadership that is focused on an inclusive and empowering agenda for the needs of the people. Our council people should not be disconnected and see themselves as above those they represent.

We need collaborative leadership that doesn’t get bogged down in petty personal differences but instead focuses on the actual issues."

I agree with Peter Biancamano.  His ward needs to ditch Beth Mason 2.0.

Sounds to me like he's running. What do you think?

  1. I hope Mutzface concentrates on Mutzfests and leaves the city governance to intelligent, moral adults. He's aligned himself with folks like Madigan, Gonzalez, DeFusco and Mason. We don't need more of that.

The issues he lists have been ongoing for some time. He could have been involved, but wasn't. Now he sees a chance to run again because Fisher's support is waning, but that doesn't mean his will grow.

The heavily gentrified second ward is made up of new people who don't know him and probably wouldn't like him or his brand of politics if they did. Votes by mail are harder to come by with the feds around.

And because these newcomers don't need anything from him, some may say his base of support has Petered out.

  2. The return of the runoff will likely encourage more candidates to give it a shot. This will make it more likely that a runoff will be needed, since it's hard to get to 50% +1 in a crowded field.

I say the more the merrier - more voices are better.

    1. Thinking the same thing - he benefits from a runoff.

But the 3 way races will tend to be reform (or whatever we call it) vs old guard (or whatever we call it) vs butt-hurts.

Let’s say vote totals go that way in the 2nd (and perhaps other places). Fisher is clearly more comfortable with the old guard than reform at this point; persuaded that her math skills will smooth out the rough edges on Biancamano just as they have with Ramos and Defusco....

When the runoff comes we’ll be hearing how she’s had substantive discussions with Peter and really believes he “gets it now” and represents the best hope for the 2nd ward.

It will be interesting and not necessarily bad. People will at last see her for who she really is.

    2. I'm with you, numbers. This is what Democracy looks like!

    3. More hats in the ring might seem like Democracy in action, but that's not how runoffs work in Hoboken. Never did and never will. We can only hope that the indictments recently handed down will have a chilling effect on illegal vote harvesting, but a guy like Peter is not too bright, so who knows what he'll do to get elected.

Wasn't one of the speakers at council meetings who lambasted DeFusco from the 2nd ward? Hope he runs.

    4. Given the general distaste for Tiffanaie, this is likely PB's best bet to get elected to the Council - Ravi will run someone to oppose Tiffanie and that may result in a three way split of the vote, with the "Reform" candidates splitting the Reform vote (even though Tiffanie is far from what I would remotely consider to be a member of Reform at this point.

BTW, what is up with Roman Bricejardi, paid political operative? He is constantly referring to "face punchers" when discussing anyone associated with the Mayor? Is this yet another one of his bizarre theories - that the Mayor and staff at City Hall are prone to physical violence? On what basis? He is a very sick individual at this point. And Tifffanie and Jen own Roman Bricejardi's actions and threats as he is their paid political operative.

    5. Ignore him he is largely irrelevant and his repulsive bombast probably does more harm then good to the City Council members he is trying to help.

  3. In the past elections I have always equated Peter Biancamano with Frank Raia who is currently facing election related legal problems. If he does run will Raia be a part of this public campaign ?

  4. But Horsey did speak to Biancamano. You'd only know that if you had MSV Premium, the best news service in Hoboken. I get it and Biancamano is among one of several obvious people interviewed.

Did Nancy Pincus speak to Horsey and confirm anything in his conversation with Biancamano? I'd guess not as Nancy Pincus always sticks to the fabrications in her reckless disregard for the truth.

That's really a shame. Hope no one among her list of victims sues her for it. Becuase that would be a shame.

Besides, the Horse didn't coin and highlight the poltiical operatives and the face punchers in Ravi Bhalla's highly paid mayor's office. John Heinis at HCV did and he deserves all the credit.

That's a great description. Don't steal credit from John Heinis anymore Nancy!

    2. Speak to you? NEVER again, you fucking creep.

I am correct. Bianacamano told me ROMAN BRICE did NOT speak to him about ROMAN BRICE's "rumor" you published it. In other words, ROMAN BRCE could have called him to say, "Is this rumor that you are running on Ravi's ticket true or false?" But ROMAN BRICE did not. Proof below. Or just call Peter.

Here is what Peter B. wrote: "So he [ROMAN BRICE] called me for the first time in a long time last weekend. He [ROMAN BRICE}asked me if I knew the most recent person who was charged with VBM fraud and if he worked for me. I told [ROMAN BRICE] he did not work for my council race in 2015 nor did I have a PAC for that race. In terms of the second ward which Roman did not ask about..."

Funny how you post here when I am blocked on your dump-site. I noticed how you like to publlish my full name ad nauseum. Something about Google algorithms --so Google searches return garbage about me; a nasty Barracato trick. ANyone could do that to you, if they were evil. I don't know anyone that evil. #RomanBrice

Congratulations on your business venture, Marketwatch app. If client uses the contact you posted: brice@marketwatch.com do they get Roman Brice or Brice Hamon?

Now, please lock the door on your way out. And don't come back! ROMAN BRICE!

    5. Did Roman Brice flat out lie ? If yes does that then color everything he posts on his Hoboken Mile Square View site ? Considering that the rumor being floated is that Peter Biancamano could be running against Councilwoman Fisher who has and continues to engaged in fundraising for Roman Brice's website was this done to help his patroness ?
