NEW 2015 voter fraud charges name "Candidate 1"

Who is "Candidate 1"?

Today's breaking news has probably made some Hoboken politicos very nervous. The reason: new voter fraud charges reach into the 2015 election.  Even more worrisome: The United States of America vs William Rojas seems to follow a familiar pattern set by the Camis-Raia-Braxton indictments for Hoboken's 2013 election:
  • First, an alleged VBM 'foot soldier' (Camis) was charged; the Complaint named "Candidate 1."
  • The next complaint charged  "Candidate 1" and identified him as Frank Raia. along with Dio Braxton, adding a conspiracy charge.
Following suit, The United States of America vs William Rojas charges an alleged 'foot soldier' (Rojas) and names a "Candidate 1." It is reasonable to believe that charges for 2015's "Candidate 1" may be forthcoming.  What does The United States of America vs William Rojas tell us about "Candidate 1"?
  • ROJAS worked for Candidate 1 in the November 2015 Hoboken municipal election (the Election ) .
  • Between in or about September 2015 and in or about November 2015, on behalf of Candidate 1, ROJAS agreed to pay certain voters $50 if those voters applied for and cast mail-in ballots in the Election.
The complaint also specifies Voters 1, 2 and 3 who each were promised $50 for their vote, were later  paid from a "PAC".  What PAC?

HOBOKEN PACS IN THE 2015 ELECTION CYCLE

More interesting than the PAC is the identity of "Candidate 1," who may be named in an upcoming complaint.

Note, 2013's "Candidate 1" didn't win his election. Perhaps 2015's Candidate 1 was defeated in their race for Hoboken's Board of Education...

2015 BOE ELECTION RESULTS: TOTAL VBMS

"Candidate 1" could also be a defeated Council candidate or one currently serving on the Hoboken City Council.  GA analyzed the VBMs each winning 2015 council candidate received as a percentage of their total vote in How they won in 2015 (Hoboken City Council)

Could it be one of them? The plot thickens...

This blog has featured several articles about this mystery:  Mike Russo reported 245 paid campaign workers in his uncontested 3rd Ward race! ...and a breakdown of which wards Russo's 245 paid campaign workers were eligible to vote in; se"NO vote-buying EVER! Just a septuagenarian army of paid workers!"  Note, the vast majority of Russo's $50 paid army of workers lived in either the 4th or 5th wards.

YELLOW=  5th ward resident (Eduardo Gonzalez, candidate)

So... who is "Candidate 1"?
