HPD Chief Ferrante to Fisher & DeFusco: "I implore you not to POLITICIZE public safety for POLITICAL GAINS"

"I implore you to not politicize public safety... for political gains [against] the Mayor."
-Hoboken Police Department Chief Kenneth Ferrante
to Mike DeFusco and Tiffanie Fisher

Here's what GA just learned: in vintage Beth Mason style, Tiffanie Fisher and Michael DeFusco have been demanding information, and more information, and more information from HPD Chief Ken Ferrante; both have been peppering him with questions, posting false and malicious content on a horse-shit blog and disseminating same on social media.

What about? The HPD vehicle driven by the Mayor's security detail.

Don't these two elected officials have real work to do? Neither are winning hearts and minds with these cheap shots at the mayor.  DeFusco is already in hot water for:
(1) claiming credit for WiFi on PATH, when it was learned he did NOTHING (except claim credit),
(2) photographing the HPD vehicle used to protect the mayor, outside City Hall during business hours,
(3) texting during the  United Synagogue of Hoboken memorial service, not wearing a yarmulke, then leaving after 10 minutes to electioneer outside,
(3) coming late/leaving early to the Court Street and Castle Point repaving meeting-- his pet project-- where a constituent reported "he spoke briefly but only to take shots at the mayor,"
(3) sponsoring an ordinance to FIRE newly married Jason Freeman (more on that coming).

Fisher is in hot water for discussing the "qualifications" of a City Hall employee in public, questioning whether he merits a promotion-- to the media no less--without serving a Rice Notice.  Not only was this  a violation of Brown's right to privacy and an ethics violation for Fisher-- it was obnoxious, demeaning and unfair to him.

Now we discover this Team of Mean's obsession with inflicting political damage on the mayor has crossed a line-- a blue line. Hoboken's Police Chief, who is sworn to protect the lives and safety of Hoboken residents--including the Mayor's-- had to spend copious amounts of time stroking two engorged council egos and debunking misinformation.  Chief replied in the 9-page letter below.

HPD CHIEF FERRANTE'S RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS, INNUENDO, LIES  AND MEAN-SPIRITED JABS AT THE MAYOR AND HIS FAMILY

  2. Wow wow wow.... Chief Ferrante sure called Roman Brice out for the faux journalist turd hack that he is. "Major false narratives" is how he put it- ha ha ha!!!! To say the least! Chief went right at that gelding with a 2 x4.... and his "major false narratives" about "pimped out" vehicles.... nice, Chief. What you really meant to say: he's a miserable turd hack fake-news fertlizer salesman with a half-dead blog that pumps out "major false narratives" for his crackpot council masters at the price of public safety, right? Isnt that what you meant, Chief? Great letter.

  3. It really is a return to the days of Beth publicly insulting the city's professionals and having them waste vast amounts of time on her little dog and pony shows.

Ferrante in particular has been quite the punching bag for the butt-hurts. Starting with the constant insistence that the terror flyer was an easily solved open and shut case leading to Bhalla (thus implying that the Chief doesn't know how to do his job and catch an obvious perp). And now this.

If you want competent public servants, they need some kind of assurance that it will be enough to do their jobs and you won't drag them into your political games. I thought everyone was clear on that when we got rid of Beth. Guess not.

I'm guessing you weren't the only one who received the Chief's rejoinder. Just the only one with the balls to print it.

    1. Oh I doubt that blog ever posts this letter. It makes him look like an idiot.

    2. Talking about the government "going stasi" while suppressing information. That's about his speed. Tiff's b*tch.

  4. Here we go, another example of a competent professional Tiff and company not only cannot control but who seems to detest her political nonsense. She will go absolutely bonkers over this letter - and go even more bonkers now that it is public.

I wish more city officials would send out fantastic letters like this. It is past time we got some transparency on the stupidity she and her cronies are trying to pull.

    1. I agree. This letter calls for a "highlights" post- you know, Chief's Greatest Hits. Feel free to suggest your faves- so many to choose from!

  5. They snidely put "dignitaries" in quotation marks. God, I hate these fools.

Were Mikey to be elected, he'd probably have someone threaten him just so he could ride in the big car.

  7. It has been 5 days and DeFusco still hasn't retracted his gross mischaracterizations or deleted his post. Perhaps the Chief should rewrite this letter as a pop-up book b/c DeFusco is clearly too stupid to understand the contents of the letter.
