As you know, the liquor license of Hoboken Ultra Bar (HUB) has been charged with 15 violations pertaining to videotaped sex acts performed at the bar on September 8, 2018. The videos, shot from all angles, are extremely graphic (and disgusting); they show an unidentified clothed male servicing a partially disrobed female while HUB's host, "The Slut Whisperer" hovers, filming them and dousing the woman in champagne. HUB has closed until the ABC Board convenes on October 25 to decide whether or not it's liquor license gets revoked.

"The owner of the bar's liquor license is Mario Fini, a fire battalion chief. Fini declined to discuss the incident at The Hub because of the city's investigation, other than to call the acts depicted in the video "unacceptable." Fini said he has no ownership of The Hub."
Fini has no ownership? Then who applied for the Hub's Certificate of Occupancy?
A source told GA: " A Certificate of Continued Occupancy (CCO was issued because the rehab for HUB was "minor" with no change or structure or use), was issued to 16-18-20 Hudson Place, 70 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ. The owner that appears on the Tax Register is 16-18-20 Hudson Place Realty LLC/PDC @ 70 Hudson Street, 7th Floor, Hoboken, NJ. The 7th Floor at 70 Hudson Street is home to Maridian Properties."
LinkedIn identifies the Principal of Maridian Properties as Mario Fini. If Fini doesn't own HUB, surely he knows who does.

Whoever the owner(s), HUB has some 'splainin' to do. If their Facebook apology is true ("The actions of the individuals are by no means behavior we allow, permit nor promote...") then why did HUB book then promote "The Slut Whisperer" Kirill at least a half-dozen times since 2017?
Kirill's act is photographing women showing their breasts and/or buttocks, pouring champagne on them, using adult "props" and putting "KrillWasHere" Stickers on their bare breasts and buttocks.
Kirill the Slut Whisperer" is famous on the club circuit for his "champagne facials" and his wild, anything-goes parties. That is his shtick. When he is booked, that is what he delivers. Kirill's notoriety even brought him a recurring role on the 2015 Showtime network series 3AM.

So, a reasonable person would assume that his performances at HUB were big, big moneymakers. That is why they invited him back.

It was inevitable that a line would be crossed.
The question is, where is the line and was it crossed over and over again? On October 25th, Hoboken's ABC Commissioners will have to figure that out then decide what to do about it. Stay tuned.
NJ.Com is reporting that the man in the videos is a cop from Pennsylvania. So Hoboken's "bravest", welcomes PA's "finest", in the worst ward councilman's home turf. Just another Saturday night in downtown Hoboken.

DeleteNo word on who the "lady" in question is yet, I guess they wish to protect her reputation, but Philly Voice names HUB's attorney as Jeffrey Garrigan, who is a criminal defense lawyer out of Jersey City. The ABC board is going after the license owners, which may or may not be the same as the bar business owners.
DeleteHUB may be owned by the same people as Teak, and now they're a DBA corporation, they would have to have revealed the investors in the business when applying for a NJ license, construction permits, etc., down to the 10% investor.

This is deplorable. The mayor and the ABC board need to take swift and significant action. This has been going on for long enough. The owner is a Hoboken Fire Captain Mario Fini and he should resign his post and lose his liquor license immediately. To claim he didn't know is nonsense. I'm sure he knew how much money he was making from it. It is another black eye on Hoboken. My understanding is he owned 3 or 4 bars in this town as well

DeleteOwning the liquor license and / or the building is not the same as owning the bar business as a tenant, though usually the liquor license owner maintains an "interest" in the profits and the goings-on. Not sure what combination of dubiously legal arrangements have been made between ethically-challenged license and bar owners, but he's not off the hook simply by saying he doesn't own the bar, especially when you see how many times this pimp Krill has used this place. He'd have to know. When you look at who owns the downtown bar businesses, only a handful of characters pop up, and they're chronically in trouble for one thing or another.

DeFusco got $ from Cadillac Cantina-- I believe that's Fini's license. The only contribution I saw directly from him (Fini) was to the Mile Square Taxpayers Association in 2012. Assuming the ELEC database is current. I don't know the names of his LLC partners, nor the nane of the owner(s) of HUB.

Remember Hudson County View did a story and the video and article I put out as to the importance of it. Since then NYC has approved, as well as other cites across America.

The HUB put out a release that gives an apology for "this unfortunate event" but the advertising on their own website states that this "Kirill" is the "Monthly Resident Host"
