Forever Sour Grapes

If you really want to know what 2nd Ward Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher thinks about the mayor-- and her council allies-- then read her assumed nom de plume on the horseshit site, ForeverAdvocate.

Yeah, I'm calling her out. Fisher is an elected official, and if she wants to influence public opinion on matters of public concern then she should do so under her name, or else identify herself like (giant ass) NHSA Commissioner Kurt Gardiner does when he blogs as Reformerous Giganticus.

Now, if a public official writes on personal matters and not public affairs, then who cares? But that is not ForeverAdvocate's game.

It is deceptive for an elected official to manipulate public opinion from behind a curtain. Councilpersons are not private citizens. Councilman Dave Mello was honest and forthright when he commented online as himself.  Let's all hear what our legislator thinks about the mayor-- it affects all Hoboken residents. That's transparency.

The extent of Fisher's contempt and ill will toward the mayor, under the presumed guise  of "Forever Advocate" is astonishing.  It surely is a matter of public concern.

It appears this is not a legislator who wants to work collaboratively with the administration in the best interest of Hoboken. That's my take.

Oh yeah, and I have a reasonable basis for the opinion and beliefs expressed here on a matter of public interest and public concern.

Now, for the sound and the fury.

"It's not me! GA's a liar!" KABOOM

  1. ForeverAdvocate will forever be an idiot whomever wrote that post.

  2. I hope some day tiff is publicly confronted at a council meeting about being foreveradvocate, just to watch her reaction. she'll never learn better, of course. she'll just get all indignant, but still worth doing. this juvenile post could be read aloud first, and then put her on the spot to answer for it.

I guess we should feel lucky that she's such a poor, convoluted communicator (a characteristic that makes her a perfect fit for the Single Men's Lonely Hearts Club Band blog, though). Can't wait until the next council election cycle.

  3. Look, what’s worst, most disappointing part of any donut? Exactly! The hole!

Tippy the Alt-Right Councibabe is working hard to replace that sad void with a hunk of sugar-coated fried lard! Yum!

Tippy’s motto is “Give the people what they want — assuming it’s a hunk of sugar-coated fried lard.”

If you wanted something else, you shouldn’t have voted for her. Idiots.

  4. Childish... and after that nasty whisper campaign she ran. Told a friend who was leaning Jen that Bhalla was unelectable. That flipped her vote to Bhalla. Mine too.

    1. Bhalla WAS unelectable. The fact that he got elected doesn't change anything. I can't explain that logic to you, but I'm sure RacistusGigantus can.

    2. You have to love how "unelectable" Bhalla now has DC aspirations per the twits that like to smear him. Last year their rumormongering only suggested he had aspirations to get to Trenton.

  5. it's one thing to disagree with someone's politics, mature adults have that discussion every day. but to flat out say "Ravi is a joke"? really? that's the level of discourse we've stooped to? that's the calibre of people we've elected to hold office?

    1. I completely agree! I tell Tippy and Yappy all the time to vary their writing style so it won't be so recognizable. But they just won't listen.

I assume that was your point.

  6. If Bhalla has higher aspirations than the cesspool of Hudson County politics specifically, and New Jersey politics generally, than Hoboken will benefit as he cannot achieve that if he doesn't perform well locally.

Is DeFusco the "upstart, dynamic Democrat"? Give it a rest. He's nothing more than the latest version of the old guard's repertory character, who they falsely believe will appeal to old and new Hoboken alike. He enthusiastically spouts untenable ideas and generally makes a big racket, misses meetings and is compromised by developer donors and ELEC violations.

    1. Translation:

"Upstart dynamic Democrat" = Socialist Alexandria Occasio-Cortez
      "Guru" = Democrat Joe Crowley
"Controversial leader" = Women's March organizer Linda Sarsour
"fellow charter school parent, colleague and neighbor" = Jen Giattino

All Tiffanie's Greatest Hits on Facebook. If this. politically-obtuse DINO attacks Ravi for being photographed with Linda Sarsour, what does she think about this:

      https://legalinsurrection.com/2018/07/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-and-linda-sarsour-co-headline-political-action-conference/
"Cortez and Women’s March co-leader Linda Sarsour were featured speakers at the 16th Annual Universal Muslim Association of America (UMAA) held on July 29, 2018."

Fisher doesn't seem to get that her "dynamic upstart" and she-who-must-not-be-photographed with Ravi are comrades. And she's awfully quick to diss Crowley who's done more for the Dem Party in a day than DINO Tiff will do in a lifetime.

ForeverAdvocate outed herself on Gardner's blog last November. Read the whole thread. She walks through the deliberative process on why they picked Ruben (#AnyoneButDoyle) On Nov 21 ForeverAdvocate used the past tense "Ruben seemed more achievable..." for the Jan reorganization meaning the deal had been cut.

    http://hobokenresistance.blogspot.com/2017/11/city-council-candidate-john-allen-named.html\
"I think Cunningham would be a better choice than Ruben, but that some shadowy players have such a blood lust for anyone who supported Jenn, that this isn't a realistic option for the next council president. Ruben, with Assembly experience, seemed more achievable, since he would also be supported by DeFusco, himself, and Falco...

  9. Thanks for providing that link GA. The entire thread is pretty entertaining. I particularly like the part where "I'm not Tiffanie Fisher" says:

"Oh Nancy. It's a shame you aren't half as smart as you think you are. I'm not Tiffanie. Now that that is settled..."

I wonder how many "I'm not Tiffanie" screen names there have been? PinkNova the Suez accounting "expert" schooled by greengopher comes to mind.
