Well, well, well. The man of a thousand screen names-- and a vested interest in larger, more profitable condo units-- has lobbed this sinister threat against a man who filed an ethics complaint against Mike DeFusco.
Note, this same thug recently threatened me with a podcast and website to "expose" me.
Mr. Donnelly, if you are reading this, feel free to contact me. I can assure you that this individual's threats are like feathers floating gently down, down, down. You won't hear them hit the ground. However, you have no way of knowing that... which is the idea; DeFusco's flunkie wants to scare you.
Why is that?

Mr. Donnelly, a reasonable person might believe that Mike DeFusco is using thugs to intimidate you into withdrawing your ethics complaint. It sure looks that way. In other words, a Hoboken resident who is trying to hold an elected official accountable for alleged ethics violations is receiving threats from an inner circle DeFusco confidente.
What does that look like to you?
What if that thug were a public official representing the City of Hoboken? (Not sayin'.... just askin')
I'm reminded of the Tweeting Caligula attacking Bob Mueller and the Department of Justice to pressure them to back off the Russia probe. In this case, the thug threatening Mr. Donnelly appears guilty of the same act: obstruction of justice. Because what DeFusco's thug wants from Donnelly is to scare him off of this ethics probe, to stop his ethics complaint from proceeding. And in my opinion, that is obstruction of justice which is a crime.
So, if that is correct then this threat is quite serious. If DeFusco does not repudiate his comrade's unhinged thuggery then you can bet he sanctioned it.
That is my opinion and belief.
FISHER DOUBLES DOWN
Another day, another word salad.
Fisher: No, the ordinance was not meant to increase developer profits, it was meant to keep homeowners who want to knock down their homes and rebuild the same footprint (but at a higher elevation) from having to apply to a municipal board for relief if they want to add "rear access."
Too bad, so sad. If the "same footprint" is 60% then, tough luck. 60% lot coverage is the ordinance.
Mind you, that's more verbose Fisher nonsense.
How many Hoboken residents are knocking down their existing homes to rebuild them at the new base flood elevation? Maybe one or two-- or a dozen? How many future units will benefit from this ordinance? Maybe hundreds- or thousands. In dollars that translates to millions in profit.
Millions of dollars in the pockets of developers, and bigger commissions for realtors.

So there is a lot at stake in passing this ordinance. Perhaps why Mr. Donnelly is being threatened to drop his ethics complaint.

First, his candidate barely eked out a win against the democrat in Ohio. Yappy was looking forward to gloating about that one. And now he finds out his meal-ticket is being forced to defend a developer donation after writing a developer-friendly ordinance while sitting on the planning board.
You can’t blame the for wondering if the end is near. So he’s lashing out in his trademark style. By trying to intimidate the opposition in to silence with the prospect of crushing legal debts.
Now I can already hear you blabbering about the hypocrisy since the same thing was done to our Horse and Friends editor.

The threats being made against Mr. Donnelly are both pathetic and counterproductive to Mr. DeFusco's interests. They are also a distraction from the real issue which is whether legislation was crafted for the benefit of a particular applicant with a pending zba application who made a campaign contribution to the sponsor. The individual making the threats is venomous and nasty but ultimately harmless to anyone but himself and his political patrons.

Does Yappy plan to sue the guy for filing the complaint? Sounds like harassment. And that dossier! Who wrote Yappy's dossier? Did Yappy? Or Mike's PR firm Vision Media? Now, is there an opposition research firm building dossiers of every citizen who dares criticize Mike DeFusco? This bully is trying to silence anyone who questions the ethics of his political master. That is relevant.
