This Iftar dinner just missed Ramadan, which ended on June 13-- no matter, because it was a night where two of Hoboken's ethnic/religious communities broke bread together. How did this unlikely cross-cultural experience happen?
Mayor Bhalla wrote on his Facebook page: "The Muslim community approached me recently about hosting an Iftar Dinner."

GA heard the dinner was a huge success. YUGE. Club members were transfixed as the Iman taught them about Islamic culture and Ramadan.
