GA: 3 million served!

You people don't mind if GA celebrates my 3,000,000 page view milestone, do you?

Too bad!

Anyway, GA wants to thank you people for sticking with this blog. It started as a fluke; I never expected it to go on as it has. Who knew?

  1. thanks so much for all you've done and continue to do for Hoboken. I'd be lost without this blog.

  2. From that 1st BOE race with its manufactured drama down to today, when former friends recycle that drama and anything else they can lift from Team Beth. I remember the late, great Dean Kempf poking fun at Lane walking around with the picture of turds like they were the nuclear codes. I guess not everyone got the joke. Nothing irritates the humorless quite like humor itself.

It's been quite a ride. Hoboken "is different" not only for the reasons Terri Castellano might give but because of its amazing online culture, which first coalesced around 411, then abandoned 411 to spin off new ventures, some of which now ape the reasons they quit 411. Turds in a puchbowl, check. NJDC hitjob, check. Shooting the doorknob, check. Taking the side of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, check. Trust that there will be more articles about you than the BOE or the ELEC violations of friends of the moment.

Amazing, but we live in amazing times. You may have lost a few friends in this journey but you've gained a lot more just by being yourself. I'm happy to be one of them.

Here's to the 3 million. It's the crooked version.

    1. If "friends" can be lost because you take dissenting political views, they were never friends. Live and learn.

  3. Congratulations GA! This is a huge milestone that is 100% a reflection of all you do to make this blog, and our town, better. You have a big, big heart. I hope it's more full knowing that so many appreciate and support you.

    1. Thank you, All Hoboken. I don't understand all the hatred coming from MSV, but screw him. I'm staying in the light.
