Amy DeGise backer: "Jen and Tiffanie are leading Hoboken effort"

GA just spoke with someone who's been campaigning for Amy DeGise (for HCDO Chair).

This person, who is familiar with the DeGise effort in Hoboken, ratted out the two anti-Bhalla Hoboken Councilwomen, Jen Giattino and Tiffanie Fisher, as leading behind-the-scenes efforts to defeat Hoboken State Senator Brian Stack.

Fisher appears to have given the personal contact information to all Hoboken Democratic Committee persons to the Sacco camp without their consent.  Giattino, who was Republican 5 minutes ago, wants to pick Hudson County's Democratic Party leadership.

Ummm, no thank you DINOs.

Well, our honorary North Bergen Councilwomen will be fodder for another election. In a couple of hours, Hudson County Dem Committee members are gathering at Kearny High School-- the place no one alive has ever heard of-- to pick Amy DeGise or Brian Stack to succeed HCDO Chair Vincent Prieto.

The big question now is... who will show up?  Will an Act of G-d (or a dirty trick) interfere with getting voters to Kearny?  This is how it breaks down by municipality:

Bayonne (102)
East Newark (4)
Guttenberg (12)
Harrison (22)
Hoboken (80)
Jersey City (362)
Kearny (60)
North Bergen (78)
Secaucus (28)
Union City (74)
Weehawken (20)
West New York (58)

The DeGise people are feeling confident. Do they know something the rest of us don't?

  1. So the staunch Republicans are backing the daughter of the tax and spend Democrat who has inflicted massive county property tax increases on the residents of Hoboken for what reason besides spite? Can anyone explain this to me?

Come on Jen & Tiff. I triple dog dare you.

  2. Looking at the legislative map, Stack is the state senator. When this little tempest is over, win lose or draw he will be still be the state senator, not to mention an extremely powerful politician in whatever capacity.

Was it wise to make an enemy of him on behalf of someone else’s state senator?

This after all never had anything to do with good government or ethics. Which is why Fisher and Giattino were never open and honest about their activities. (Are they ever anymore?) They are deep in the throes of supporting whatever Bhalla doesn’t support. Bet your ass they would be supporting Stack right now if Bhalla supported Degise.

Thank God the hospital sale is done. They’d oppose. They don’t think anymore. They react.
