Oh, the humanity! With 8 hours to go, it is not looking good for Councilman Russo's proposal to bring OTB to Hoboken.
If Russo's poll were a patient, it would be on life support in ICU. If his poll were a roast, it would be burnt. If it were a bird, it would be plucked, trussed and stuffed.
So far, 22% favor bringing OTB to Hoboken versus 78% against. Now, we know that internet polls are unscientific, can be fudged and only sample the population plugged into social media. That said, GA suspects this poll accurately represents a vast majority of Hobokenites who don't want an OTB in the Mile Square. Stay tuned for final results.
to mikey's credit, his post says "i'm interested in hearing your thoughts about...". he might be in favor of it, but at least he didn't say "this is a great opportunity, wonderful idea, etc., let me know if you agree!"
