  1. kudos to the person on the hoboken reddit who commented on this tweet: "He needs to stop with all these side jobs." LOL!

  2. They continue to badly underestimate him as a politician even as they badly overestimate themselves. They'll be watching on TV before his term ends. No doubt even then they'll think they were the smarter ones.

  3. I thought it was going to be Bindya for complaining of an underpaid job!! Lol

    1. Now now, Hobokened Out. Let me remind you that elected officials' spouses (like Bindya), partners (like you), children, brothers (like Amar), sisters, and parents are off-limits. Dunno why Bhalla's opponents go after his family. Especially Peter Cunningham's insipid press release containing Amar's private text messages to his brother. Peter must have forgotten the Mason crew's attacks on his wife, which were despicable and truly nasty. Now he's using the same nasty tactics. Otherwise, how ya been?

  4. Well. You are waking on thin ice when you are either wishing a politician to be dead and the Mayor burying him or just doing it old NJ politics Mafia style while being alive .. just putting things into perspective.

    Doing well , tx .

    1. What a d-o-p-e. Turning satire into a death threat. Where have I seen that movie before? Better call 911--Wiley Coyote just put dynamite on the road and here comes the Road Runner!

  5. It was not just Peter who published private text messages, Michael read them at the City Council meeting. Both were/are behaving like frat boys rather than erudite, thoughtful men who have the privilege of weighing in on city law and policy. I'm going to assume this was a one-off for Peter and that he'll come to his senses. I have no hope for Michael, or his partner, who behave like 30 somethings that take a college frat boy approach to social change.

    1. College frat boy approach ?
It's called facts .. but you seem to be blindly naive for your politically connected lawyer pursuing additional business opportunities through politics and using his minority status for his own benefit but not to actually help those minorities in need .. yes he is tackling some quality of life issues , however they are mostly targeted to his brownstone owner privileged families.
And why is Amar directly involved in official communication and political businesses.. through his un protected cell phone ? If this isn't frat boy college behavior ( and he is a lawyer too ??) .. I don't know what to call it .

And please don't worry about me .. at 37 I've accomplished more social change than you will ever do in your lifetime directly helping those in real need .

    2. "And why is Amar directly involved in official communication and political businesses.. through his un protected cell phone ?"

Are you for real? I know you're not a stupid guy so why do you write things like that?

    3. Hobokened Out, I am sure that All Hoboken is well equipped to respond him/herself, but I must correct you. Like you, Amar is a private citizen. He sent a personal message, not "official" to his BROTHER and mistakenly added Jason Ellis, the failed Council candidate. Ellis pimped it like the Happy Hooker. Everybody seems to have gotten it. Would you like your texts to your partner treated that way? I have a misfired personal text message of Jen Giattino's- somebody sent to me. Unlike Jason Ellis, I would not abuse anyone's privacy no matter who they are.

BTW, it's never a good idea to diminish the accomplishments of an anonymous person.

    4. Minorities like the defrocked priest who was denied a seat on the rent leveling board purely to help the self-serving agenda of a couple of political hacks who only care about themselves? Those the sort of people you are talking about HobokenedOut?

Please don't talk the talk if you ain't gonna walk the walk there buddy.

    5. Wrong again but no surprise , you are biased and your comment about diminiahing accomplishments towards an anonymous person should go to "all hoboken" too then as I'm no frat boy and I'm sure are as educated as him (or likely more ). Bonus : I don't use my minority status as a trampoline unlike others included elected officials ... so yeah .. I don't walk that walk .. I created my own path .

    6. If I'm reading this all and understanding it, HO is in medicine. I have always thought doctors were smart. However, no intelligent person would try to hitch his wagon to team Giafusco. So what am I missing?

    7. Snoopy - you forget that intelligence does not equal integrity. That is what you are missing.

  6. If the GiaFusco team would invest in a poll to ascertain Mayor Bhalla's current standing with the voters vs their own, I suspect they would find the results quite sobering. And Mayor Bhalla will not be on the ballot in 2019. Only they will be.

DeFusco didn't lose the mayoral election because of the flyer. He lost because of the insanely stupid decision to run against a popular Mayor who wasn't even on the ballot. Giattino made the same insanely stupid decision, a particularly inexplicable choice give that Mayor Zimmer was (and still is) particularly popular among the voters she was trying to woo. She wasn't a viable candidate anyway for a variety of reasons but that mistake cost her 500 - 1000 votes. Smart people learn from their mistakes. Not so smart people repeat them. Based on GiaFusco's choices so far it appears they're all a little slow on the uptake. But it's not too late to smarten up. I really don't care about their political fortunes but for the sake of our City I hope they do.

  7. I am proud to say that I am now part of the recently banned Defusco twitter team - but that isn't as impt as the people who live in the 2nd ward and are pumped about a possibly calmer Leprecon - and very aware that Defusco is supporting the bars....

    4. Banning people - the act of a coward and of someone who knows he is consistently in the wrong. Only through censorship can he be "right". How Beth Mason of the guy.
