Voted "Boy Most Likely to File a Late ELEC Report"

C'mon, Councilman DeFusco, where's your 20-day post-election ELEC report?

Even Anthony 'Stick' Romano got his filed!

Okay, Jen Giattino's ELEC report is late, too. But her Treasurer is a responsible guy and her prior ELECs were always timely filed.

In fact, so were DeFusco's- until now!

These are the last reports on file for Team DeFusco's 'late' campaign contributions... a total of $43,100 washed in on November 1st!

DeFUSCO '48-HOUR' ELECs

By comparison, Giattino's last report was filed on November 8, 2017, a late contribution of $5,300.

So DeFusco's next ELEC report should be really interesting.

Anybody want to guess how much his grand total receipts and expenditures will be?

  1. Does anybody know the status of Councilwoman Fisher's complaint? It seems like she was right about DeFusco's illegal contributions and a pile more came rolling in late. Hopefully the city will act to enforce the law.

Anybody know what the NRCC political education fund is? I'm guessing it's the carpenter's union.

    1. The committee appears to be funded by the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC)... it's showing as a non-profit corporation. They were included in the Fisher complaint, but that was filed before this windfall.

  2. Ahem, Mr Defusco would have completed his financial reporting timely if he were not LEADING... the flyer investigation, ROUNDING UP... the perpetrators and RUNNING TO... the press with updates. Albeit mostly the latter.

Due to some sort of anachronistic proceeeeeeeedure... the police have failed... to arrest the guilty parties whom we have DEFINITIVELY identified for them (see HCV, HR, Patch, NJ.com, Yahoo, AP, Paper, Circa, Google News, Flipboard, iPhone News, News360....).

It is fair to say that we have laid a huge steaming pile on a plate in front of the so-called police and all they have to do is eat it. Yet they refuse. Naturally with so much of our time being occupied with the management of International Incidents your little ELEC fetish is an extremely low priority for us.

Yet more ridiculous, this criticism is coming from a site that has yet to do an article on either The Sign at Church Towers or Beth's Window Treatments....

By the way, for those interested in REAL NEWS, voting is now complete by our as many as four participants! We are pleased to announce that The Sign at Church Towers is our Team giaFISHco Person of the Year! With a late surge The Sign was able to edge out Beth's Window Treatments by a final tally of three votes to one!

It's a shame that someone had to lose when both were equally relevant! But what would you know about relevance with your fixation on our well loved and not open to discussion Make Our Sidewalks Safe By Endangering Children Resolution? Idiots. Wouldn't know news if it sawed you in half.

  3. Stop attacking our friend Mike. Our City's future depends on the NEW REFORM MOVEMENT he and Councilwoman Fisher lead. We must expose Mr. 32.7% PACman Bhalla's quest to build giant NJ Transit towers that welcome into Our Town thousands of drug dealing illegal immigrants.

Flyergate and PACgate will be persistently investigated by a special bi-partisan Council Committee co-chaired by Councilman DeFusco and Councilwoman Fisher.

NEW REFORM LIVES! RESIST AND ADVOCATE!!

  4. His Facebook page is attacking Bhalla for receiving funds from a PAC, legal under Citizen's United, and he claims it's "unprecedented". No, it's not. Inexperienced and new to Hoboken and politics, he can't keep his own counsel. The irony is, he dares to attack a candidate who filed on time, when he hasn't filed his own financials. What is he afraid of? What doesn't he want us to know? Who does he owe what to? Now that Maurice is gone, I hope he's the last in the parade of these hand-picked boys we've had to deal with.

    1. That's hilarious. I'll bet DeFusco is Hoboken's PAC Kingpin. For example, one of the donors of that late cash geyser is (I believe) a 527- which makes their pile of dough (aggregate $16.5K as of Nov. 1) legal.

What a dope. I don't read his Facebook page very often- guess I should. I am still banned from posting there.

    2. a recent glance at comments to a MDF sponsored Facebook post (meaning he paid to have it appear in my feed) about this whole thing brought back some SLAPPy memories: the nasty, aggressive posturing of our old friend sarah s. i had wondered where the old mason gang would appear in this latest election, no surprise it was behind the candidate exhibiting the mason campaign tendencies.

good lord, this woman has lost none of her know-it-all attitude and self-righteous bitterness. what a piece of work.

    3. Wonder if she any Tony ever bump into each other around Defusco HQ. And if they do, does Sara say Tony has finally seen the light or does Tony say Sara has?
