Disclaimer: In my self-appointed role as 2017 ELEC Report Audit Committee, I "do not always have accounting, audit or finance management expertise" only the "professional guidance" of Dr. Suess who advises: "Look at his fingers! One, two, three… How many fingers do I see? One, two, three, four, Five, six, seven, Eight, nine, ten. He has eleven! Eleven! This is something new. I wish I had Eleven, too!"
Me too!
MATH MYSTERY SOLVEDSee graphic above. The Giattino campaign appears to have filed a HYBRID 20-day post-election ELEC report!
Two separate ELEC reports are fused together as one!
The front end of the "Joint Committee" 20-day post-election report (pp 1-10) appears to be Giattino's INDIVIDUAL report grafted onto the back end (page 11) of the Giattino JOINT COMMITTEE report.
Hybrids do exist in nature; note the "elephant-bird." Is it a bird? Or an elephant?
It's BOTH.
“My goodness! My gracious!” they shouted. “My Word! It’s something brand new! It’s an elephant-bird!! |
For the record, GA has never seen a hybrid "elephant-bird".
I have seen the Giattino campaign's hybrid ELEC report which is now in the custody of the New Jersey Law Enforcement Commission. It is certified "true" by the Joint Committee.
HYBRID ELEC MYSTERY
How did was a hybrid ELEC filed?
The 2017 ELEC Audit Committee would normally blame ELEC for the screw-up. Not the first time that's happened.
However, the "office sought" on page one says "Joint Committee" NOT "mayor."
See what I mean? It is a mystery.
"Professional guidance in this area supports the establishment of audit committees."
Yes! And when elected officials procrastinate to file timely ELEC reports, then file 3-week late indecipherable crap, ELEC Audit Committees must be established! Right, Dr. Suess? Suess says, "then our mother came in, and she said to us two, 'did you have any fun? tell me. what did you do?' and sally and i did not know what to say. should we tell her the things that went on there that day? should we tell her about it? now, what SHOULD we do? well... what would YOU do if your mother asked YOU?"

2017 ELEC AUDIT COMMITTEE FINDINGS
The Giattino hybrid ELEC report is less transparent than an elephant-bird!
The 2017 ELEC Report Audit Committee recommends that a CORRECTED amended report must be filed immediately for Giattino For Mayor and for the Joint Committee.
The Giattino campaign is responsible for this incredibly late MESS.
Rich in irony: Giattino co-Chair Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher is leading the charge for a Municipal Audit Committee to "strengthen the quality of the review process and independence of the audit practices of the City of Hoboken." Funny stuff.
Hey, how about starting with filing your ELEC reports on time, and correctly, showing the public all of your campaign's receipts and expenditures?
Red flag raised.
good at math. yup.
