The Giattino campaign finally filed its 20-Day Post-election reports.
Now, follow me...
The Disbursements Schedules on Giattino's Joint Committee ELEC report filed December 20, 2017 and October 31, 2017 show a total of $73,986.50 disbursed to Tungsten LLC., 1530 16th Streets NW #607, Washington DC.
The disbursements to Tungsten, LLC. for "campaign consulting" are as follows:

Huh? That is a LOT of campaign money going to Washington D.C.
Google did not turn up results for "Tungsten LLC" in the District of Columbia. Nothing.
So, GA did a Whitepages reverse address look-up and found who resides at 1530 16th Streets NW #607, Washington DC.: Russ Belli-Estreito.
Who is he? See below.
No wonder the Giattino campaign dropped their ELECs on the Friday before Christmas!
Kind of ironic that the guy behind all the messages in my FB newsfeed about Giattino's local, organic support is from, uh, D.C.
ReplyDeleteOh and this is definitely off thread, but readers may be interested to know that you can pre-pay your 2018 Hoboken property taxes to take the full deduction in 2017 and get ahead of the Trump tax scam (can only write up to 10K off of your property taxes). I spoke to the city tax office today and they are getting a lot of calls about it. I have friends in high property tax areas in NJ, NY and CT that are scraping together $$ to pay as much in 2017 as they can. If you can manage it, do it by 12/31.
DeleteKind of ironic how upset Giattino and supporters were at Ravi for making national politics a campaign issue (Giattino''s failure to repudiate Trump) when campaign dollars were flowing to an RNC employee who fundraises for Trump's Make America Great Committee!
DeleteAnd who co-chaired Jen's campaign? LOL
DeleteI think it is time someone told a certain CC member to go register as a Republican.
HobokenGarden- get a CPA or someone who really understands taxes to give you a feel for whether or not it's worth it. For example, it might put you into AMT and your savings would go away. Also, there's the cost of the lost opportunity to make $$ on the money you're now paying early for taxes.
DeleteBut yes, it's a great idea if it helps you save $.
Kind of ironic that the candidate who repeatedly said she didn't support Trump and resented being linked to the Republican party in a local nonpartisan race hired a Republican operative close to the Trump campaign based a few blocks from the White House. Well, this was a nice holiday gift GA. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMore proof that party affiliation matters at a local level. Need to double-down and get Jen and Peter off city council. Are there any other Republicans or DINO's on city council?
ReplyDeleteFor the record, if Jen wanted to clear her name during the campaign, all she had to do was clearly disassociate herself from the Republican Party, the party of walls, bans, and equivocation/footies when it comes to white supremacists. Her failure to clearly dissociate herself from a President and party that supports Donald Trump was one among many of her short comings. Without further explanation this effectively ends her political career in Hoboken (she can move to Mississippi and be fine, they love Trump there) and is a slap in the face to the people who swore up and down that she is a Republican but not that kind of....
ReplyDeleteThe Republican Party and those who support it need to do a great deal of soul searching, the debacle in Alabama is the latest example of their descent into a moral sewer. These are Jen’s people. This is the party she freely associates with.
I don't care so much about the national political affiliations of councilpersons. Peter will likely not get my vote next time around, not because he is a Republican, but because he's seems to be headed towards the dark side of local politics.
ReplyDeleteBut Tiffanie Fisher, who is CHAIR of the Hoboken Democratic Party, co-chaired a campaign that wired thousands of dollars to an RNC/Trump-affiliated consultant? I expect local party officials to support the Democratic Party, not to be part of sending money to support the Trump machine. Is there a process to remove her as chair?
Lay down with dogs wake up with fleas.
