Last night, GA obtained the Hudson County Board of Elections 172-page VBM report for Hoboken, current to October 26, 2017.
My source was dead-on accurate. The actual totals were 1605 sent and 709 returned as of last Thursday. .
These numbers will change everyday, but here's a snapshot taken 12-days before election day. Assume trends to hold.

Voting by mail is a proud democratic institution. I'm appalled that you would cast aspersions this way.
ReplyDeletePlus, it’s too late! We already got a truckload. And we just locked up the much sought after endorsement of Perry Belfiore who found it necessary to explain his “surprising” support for a non-bnr after supporting Cammarano and Occhipinti. Mr B always likes a nice VBM heavy red wine.
And speaking of whiners, our beloved Mr Manchurian Goat (sp?) will be offering a stalwart defense of Mr B’s long and admirable service to felons and the felonious while waxing all civil rightsy about the need for certain demographics to vote by mail and how Trumpy it is to say otherwise.

However, we have been advised of as-yet unpublished reports of a real, or potential, or planned but not carried out illegal right turn by Comrade Unelectable. If 20 school children were there at the time, Comrade Unelectable would have killed all 20. That’s the real story you should be manufacturing!

does romano have a VBM harvesting apparatus, or are most of these going to MDF? any chance that stick and mike's efforts in this area cancel one another out?
ReplyDeleteNobody's admitting to a harvest. I have to believe that with Ramos and Pupie backing DeFusco, these are MDF votes.
DeleteRomano as I understand it has the big goon who used to work for Mason doing his VBM operation. And he has alot of support, VBM and otherwise, in the senior buildings. 400 first Street is all Romano. Much of DeFuscos paid for vote in the HHA will come at the polls so focusing just on VBM's is misleading.

Any way you slice it, the Ramos/Raia alliance will deliver 2000-2500 portable votes to DeFusco. That makes him a dangerous candidate despite having no base if his own, especially with all the money he's spending to con newer voters into thinking he's an independent with exciting ideas.
Our floating 80 story high school with a wraparound water slide to the ground floor is plenty exciting. I guess that's hard for pro-Communists to admit.

DeleteWho's focusing just on VBMs? Just giving the numbers, numbers. This election may be won or lost by a couple dozen votes. Every vote: machine, vbm, provisional, counts.
Every vote only counts if you vote for a candidate who actually has a chance of winning. We don't need "Nader" voters here.

ReplyDeleteI was responding to the pessimistic tone of some comments to the effect that Ravi could not win with Jen cutting into our vote. We can and we must.

Agreed, "numberscruncher", the next 8 days will be real nail biters. But, if we work extra hard, I think we can pull it off. After all, Ravi has 12 year old Toby who volunteered to work for him and Toby is quite awesome!
