Romano's YUGE labor endorsement!

Holy cow...  I'll bet "someone" is crying in his cornflakes this morning!

Anthony 'Stick' Romano just got the mother of all endorsements: the Hudson County Central Labor Council!   The HCCLC is one of 500 state and local labor councils of the national AFL-CIO, representing 36 affiliates throughout Hudson County!

This endorsement makes Mike DeFusco's Building Trades endorsement look like chopped liver!

In fact this endorsement was so coveted by the DeFusco campaign, a source told GA:
"Ray Ferrioli [DeFusco fundraiser] called screaming the President of the Union and told them they could not endorse Romano , that they had to endorse Defusco!"
Ooops, guess they didn't.

Expect the floodgates of contributions from members of these 36 affiliates to burst wide open for Stick Romano!

Not-so-vibrant news for Mike DeFuscoSAD.

YUGE!

  1. MDF wasn't hurting for cash last i heard but this is indeed a big bump for stick that will pay for lots of mailers and feet on the ground. gonna get very interesting now for mike.

btw...what's up with fundraising for "jen"? last i heard it was about as low as her polling numbers, curious to know if all/any of her rich republican friends have stepped up. since she's a republican, maybe the NRA, sheldon adelson and the koch brothers have kicked in some cash. ;)

    has she filed any numbers?

  2. Most important for Romano and DeFusco is that this will enable Stick to compete with Mike for the paid for votes. This could result in a bidding war driving the price per vote well above the $40 paid in past elections.

    1. Ha ha! Tony Soares seems to have unblocked me on Facebook, whatever that means!

    2. I don't why you mention the aforementioned. Propeller has 762 posts stating he isn't the he whom you suppose. After #750, I was convinced.

  4. with ravi and "jen" splitting reform and MDF and stick splitting the OG/paid-for votes, this election's winner could come in at 25-30% of the vote. what a year, oy.

maybe karen does have a chance!

  5. over here in the 4th Ward Romano is already covering the area with boots on the ground, flyers on cars, door handles, and even a couple of construction sites with big banners. Plus Mello will have some of the Sky Club residents. Ramos is going to have to work harder to get Mikey voters down here.
