DeFusco's Miracle OPRA request!

Sneaking in through the back door?

Miraculous!

God created the world in 6 days and Mike DeFusco turned around an OPRA request in only 1!

How did DeFusco do it?

On August 22, a North Bergen attorney sent a letter by certified mail to the Hudson County Clerk and the NJ Attorney General on behalf of an unidentified Hudson County resident. The letter is a demand that Anthony 'Stick' Romano be thrown off the ballot for Freeholder.

The plot thickens... a source told GA:
"An old adversary of Brian Stack's has been hired by DeFusco-  a North Bergen lawyer who, when aligned with Muniz/Sacco has acted as a political/election attorney against Brian Stack. In 2007, DeFusco's lawyer worked against Stack in that big Primary fight. This is all about DeFusco continuing his alliance with North Bergen to take over Hoboken. A direct hit on Brian's 33rd District."
So, let's recap. An attorney with close ties to Muniz/Sacco files a demand letter, and 4 days after it's received at the County, DeFusco posts a stamped copy on his campaign website.

On August 29, DeFusco posted this:

"After a letter filed on behalf of a concerned citizen was made public this week... The DeFusco campaign obtained a copy of the letter by filing an Open Public Records Act request with the Hudson County Clerk’s Office, and a copy is attached."

Got that?

DeFusco claims "after the letter became public" his campaign obtained a copy by filing an OPRA request;  he even links the words "was made public this week" to his media source, Hudson County View.

So when did this"concerned citizen letter" become public on Hudson County View?

On August 28, 2017.

August 28th was one day before DeFusco published his "full letter obtained through OPRA Request from the county"

Wow!

How did the DeFusco campaign turn around an OPRA request for a letter filed on behalf of an anonymous person represented by a Sacco/Muniz connected attorney in ONE DAY?

Do you know, LD33 Senator Brian Stack?

And the moral of the story?

(1) DeFusco appears to be coordinating with "outsiders" - in particular from North Bergen.

(2) Outsiders don't want to get control of Hoboken government for charitable purposes.

(3) DeFusco is lying to Hoboken residents to cover his unseemly associations.

(4) DeFusco is coordinating with enemies of LD33 Brian Stack to undermine the Senator's authority over his own legislative district.

(5) DeFusco has a loose grasp on the truth, and will say anything, will lie to get his hands on Hoboken's levers of power.

  1. Folks, please don't read this article.

Everything you need to know about our candidates is covered in the Team GiaFusco corporate website. And since this story isn't there, it stands to reason that you don't need to know about it. So don't read it at all. Please.

Instead, read the gripping coverage of how unimportant and poorly conducted polls are if our candidates don't do well in them. Conversely, polls where you can refresh your screen all day - now those are run right and worth every column inch! That's real news!

You think this is news? The fact that there's so much secret money behind one of our candidates that lawyers are falling out of the sky to do his dirty work? That's not news. If our candidate's miraculous receipt of the OPRA'd letter were relevant to Hoboken don't you think our Team GiaFusco Reform Resistance corporate website would be telling you about it? But we're not. So what's that tell ya?

Woes of Victimhood from Team GiaFusco's Victim in Chief, Hatfield McVictim!

Today's complaint: "Where do all these people I try to out get off trying to out me? Are screen names not sacred for me to leave a trail like a caterpillar under a new moniker each month."

Now, folks, I'm not one to say for certain whether the fact that McVictim barely lifts a finger to conceal his identity makes it ok to openly call him Tony Soares, but I'll say this - if you ever have any issues with anything posted by the commenter going by the name Hatfield McCoy, go on down to DeFusco hq and ask to speak with the person nobody there can stand. Then take it up with him.

We here at Giattino hq respect our non-aggression pact, but it's not our job to clean up any messes made by that guy. He's like the hot potato of hoboken politics - better to have him pissing out than pissing in, and yet even better to having him pissing out your co-candidate's door and leaving your doorstep dry altogether.

    1. I say BS , Giatinno has an army of "Derek Barnes"-like trolls posting garbage on all social media channels . "Non aggression pact "... what else are you going to say ? " I think there is blame on both sides,” .. on both sides ..

    3. Don't step on my lines, goofball! When I use "many sides", it may be tedious but at least it's in a context that makes sense. Show a little originality!

And clearly you didn't get the memo - a little obligatory sniping is the perfect smokescreen for the glass clinking going on between Indie, McVictim, the DemPublican Committee chair and the Queen of Reform Resistance herself.

That's how we roll here at Team GiaFusco. Get with the program, dude.

    5. Dear Hoboken Doubt,

We at Team GiaFusco take quality control very seriously. As you can see from our vastly superior and infinitely more popular corporate website, we aren't even covering this alleged story of an alleged OPRA request being allegedly fulfilled so allegedly expeditiously that it would have had to have been allegedly filed more or less allegedly concurrently with the allegedly requested document itself, meaning the alleged document author and alleged OPRA filer were in alleged cahoots allegedly.

      Allegedly some more.

Now, as with any large, sprawling organization like ours, from time to time one of our Team GF support staff may, in a passing fit of temper, voice displeasure at one of our products - or "candidates" as you would call them. Think of it as the Imagineer in the Mickey Mouse costume having a brief lunchtime tiff with the Imagineer in the Goofy costume. Just co-workers letting off a bit of steam, we assure you.

But you will find this behavior to be overwhelmingly the exception rather than the rule.

Note for instance how our Defusco employee H. McCoy never says boo to our Giattino employee S. Jones. All their venom is directed to this website and the exotic, unelectable, extremely probable 2020 Presidential candidate - Bhalla. Just as it should be and as they are reminded to do in every Team GiaFusco corporate directive.

We of course welcome your feedback on this notably rare and completely out of the norm incident and will certainly address it at our next team meeting.

But we ask you instead to focus your attention on the complete lack of criticism let alone enmity between the promoters of our two products - er, candidates to use your coinage - who are allegedly in competition. Allegedly.

      Impressive, no?

  3. It's no secret that there is believed to be an old guard mole in the clerk's office who, in this case, seems to be conspiring to effect the outcome of the mayoral election.
