Karen Nason offered spot on DeFusco Ticket

GA checked in with Karen Nason this morning for her reaction to yesterday's post- an overheard conversation between her and her campaign manager.

Karen was overheard loudly recounting a meeting called by Frank Raia... and lo and behold,  when she got there, Ruben Ramos was there with Frank!   Ruben asked Karen to drop out of the race, promising her a spot on DeFusco's ticket.  Karen declined.

This morning, Nason confirmed the witness had gotten it right, adding:
"It was obvious to anyone with a brain that Ramos was with Defusco but I was quite shocked with Frank. Because I really like Frank."
-Hoboken Mayoral candidate Karen Nason

GA can confirm Nason is genuinely shocked that Raia, always supportive, was wheeling and dealing behind her back on behalf of Mike DeFusco.
"You want a friend in Hoboken? Get a dog."
-not said by Harry S. Truman
Yes, she is shocked.

GA told Karen that if her 'friend' could make a buck from it, he'd run her over and throw her dead body off a ... nevermind.

True, Reformers are dullards- a bunch of nerds, but we don't shiv our friends for (alleged) personal profit.

Watch your back, Karen!

    I'll call her CarmellA Nason

There's No way did someone sitting in a cafe transcribe an overheard conversation that detailed

Karen is being USED by this blog to hurt DeFusco and help Zimmer. I'll take Zimmer of Karen, she seems really unstable , erratic and shady... Too close to Romano

  8. DeFusco just attacked Ravi, "You haven't been there for the LGBTQ community!"

Ravi replied, "What haven't I done?" Crickets.

DeFusco gave a real assholey speech accusing Ravi of grandstanding about the Vape Van. What a jerk.

  9. As a gay man living 3 decades in Hoboken, if that little shit MDF tries to play the anti-gay card I read read him to filth to his face starting with "who the F do you think you are to speak for the LGBT community when you have been involved how?" Show me the cancelled checks, the pics of you at LGBT events IN Hudson county.

Little asshat has nothing to run on as a gay man.

    2. Why don't you put yourself out there and run? Or do you think "cancelled cheques" solve the problem? ( ever heard of paypal- who writes cheques anymore ) Easy to do when you have multiple political jobs, contracts and a free house!

    6. 12:02- Who said he was a "joke"?

Unlike the putzes that spam here for him (look in the mirror), I LIVE in Hoboken. That's why it MATTERS to me whose hands are on our levers of power.

Forgive me if I don't want baby hands on Hoboken's levers of power-- baby hands attached to a developers' suck up. Does anyone know what he really stands for? He certainly has betrayed the people who got him on Zimmer's ticket or helped him once he was there. Trust me, should he succeed, he will stab every one of you in the back to climb over your dead body.

Thanks for the Politics 101 tutorial, sucker.

  13. The Zimmer Administration RENEWED VAPE's License on APRIL 25th 2017!
That's right folks, the looney tunes at city hall were A-okay with Vape's noise, music, generator, smoking lounge in the truck and all the retroactive violations they dug up last night .... This administration is incompetent. They could have avoided this a month ago if they only PROPERLY screened his renewal or did they and someone connected to city hall looked the other way?????

    1. Considering the truck was always parked in the First Ward did DeFusco protect it ? BTW Mikey approved the license she it went in front of the City Council.

      Delete
    2. Mike DeFusco didn't say last night that he thought the license renewal should have been denied but now it was too late. But he did equate a public racist rant by a city licensed vendor with comments by anonymous posters on social media about his sexual orientation and his friend's height.

Perhaps the license should have been revoked, perhaps not. I'm glad the issue was amicably resolved without a decision on that difficult question being necessary.

But anybody who equates elected officials' responsibility to respond to a racist rant on a city street by a city licensed vendor viewed on a video by over 200,000 people with anonymous comments on blogs is, simply put, a moron.

Not to mention that turning this into a story about Mike and his friend is stunningly narcissistic.

No mike and Mike's friend. This wasn't all about you.

Though I will admit that Mike Russo had you guys beat taking the opportunity to describe himself of a victim because people hold him accountable for stuff he's said and done like maybe agreeing on an FBI video to accept a bribe?
