I am sure the developer put that sign on the rendering to make their highly objectionable project seem more palatable. Little do the Defusco minions realize - the most likely tenants were probably a nail salon and a dry cleaner. LMAO
That one has been tried before. In fact, the people who brought that in court, got $2,000,000 less than they wanted (nothing), were ordered to pay $276,677 total including Pincus' legal fees, and have a pending sheriff's writ of execution on the sale of their Hoboken condo.
Before the shake hit the fan one of the ballyhooed running mates was a woman who has known have an extreme dislike for any kind of new development in Hoboken. I would have to figure she has be told to shut up or is already been dumped.
So are you saying The architect lied too?
ReplyDeleteBetter have your lawyer on call
Here's some real news to go with your bullshit on a bun

Shack Shack rep told Jerseydigs.com it was a "rumor" that they were coming to Washington St... MDF is a gossip, not a mayor.
Delete"The project would have included some outdoor space and a green roof, also creating two paved parking spots in the back of the building off Court Street where the residential entrance would be. The front of the building would feature two separate retail spaces, one of 3,990-square feet at street level and one of 3,970-square feet in the basement.
Renderings of the building included the words “Shake Shack” above the retail’s awning, although their connection with the project isn’t clear. In the development’s application submitted to the city, there is nothing included from Shake Shack that officially indicates that the company had committed to the space, and the restaurant is not mentioned by name in any of the forms, descriptions, or various planning reports.
A rep for Shake Shack told Jersey Digs that “we have no news to share about an opening in Hoboken” and added “as you can imagine, rumors often circulate about our potential openings.” But a Zoning Board isn’t supposed to take proposed tenants into account when making their decisions and retail leases are never permanent anyway, so Shake Shack’s involvement or lack thereof shouldn’t have been a factor in the denial."

ReplyDeleteDo you mean Cheryl Fallick? Doubt she would ever shut up about anything, Has she agreed to run with MDF? Can't be dumped if you haven't agreed.
DeleteDoubt MDF would dump her. She's the straight shooter that he isn't.
I would call her a condescending and negative but your right she never shuts up even when she is proven dead wrong. A perfect fit with MDF and TS.
DeleteLettuce be honest. Defusco is in a pickle and his buns are toasted. Don't think he'll ketchup.
ReplyDeleteThat comment was one big happy meal, @3:08. Kudos.
