GA to Council: Slice this Turkey

This turkey needs slicing, legislatively speaking. 

GA can't figure out why 16  state Attorney Generals representing 130 million Americans have united in opposition to Trump's hideous "Muslim/refugee travel ban" but NOT our state Attorney General, Chris Porrino.

What the hell is wrong with you, Chris Porrino?  

Hey, "Porrino" is not native American, it's Italian, which makes you a descendant of immigrants.

This is what Americans at the turn of the 20th century thought about your people, the Italians.

But somehow, your ancestors got in and have made this country better and stronger.

So tonight, then Hoboken City Council is going to ASK you to join the 16 Attorney Generals from  California, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Virginia, Vermont, Oregon, Connecticut, New Mexico, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Illinois and the District of Columbia who have condemned Trump's thinly-disguised Muslim ban.

Tonight on the agenda is a Resolution sponsored by the Councilman who adorned the cover of yesterday's Bergen Record:

Look!  It's Hoboken Councilman Ravi Bhalla and his lovely wife, Bindya.

Look at that Immigrant Party Mix representing all 6 wards of Hoboken and At-Large: Italians, Irish, Portuguese, Latino, Punjabis!   Somehow, we all made it here.

And together, united we will get through this Era of Stupid: 2016-2020.
