Perjury Penalties in the State of New Jersey

Source eHow:
"The penalties for perjury and related offenses in New Jersey depend on which class the offense is defined as in state law. New Jersey classifies crimes by degrees, and, with a few exceptions, all crimes within a degree carry the same penalties. The penalties are:

First degree -- 10 to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $200,000.
Second degree -- 5 to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $150,000.
Third degree -- 3 to 5 years in prison and a fine up to $15,000.
Fourth degree -- up to 18 months in prison and a fine up to $10,000."

"Most prison food in the United States is prepared with the blast-chill method, which allows a large number of meals to be prepared and then reheated at mealtimes. In the US, this technique was pioneered by the New Jersey correctional system, in January 1982.

Inmates may also purchase food at the prison commissary, such as chocolate bars, beef jerky, honey, peanut butter, bread, coffee, and snack cakes."

  1. Counte$$'s friends should not be expected to comply with telling the truth. Besides, court orders are for the little people. Certainly, this would be an affront to her minions' rights as friends of counte$$.

Is it their fault they pathologically lied for three years with a SLAPP lawsuit if she and her hubby bankrolled and fincance it?

Who's more culpable, the minions or Beth and Ricky?

Also, what happens when you piss on a judge's court order and are held in contempt? How much time would the SLAPPers get in the pokey? Would FinBoy make twinkie deliveries?

    1. That is a good question. You mean if, for example, SLAPPers defy a court order, obstructing litigants' rights... and are (consequently) held in contempt of court? How much jail time? I will have to look into it.

    2. In NJ, a judge has the authority to punish contempt of court with imprisonment and a fine.

  2. Did you know you can make booze in prison? It's called "pruno."

Here's how to make a pruno Zimmertini in the Big House. Ingredients: any fruit, ketchup, toothpaste, ear wax and bread. Mix them together in the sink or toilet, let them ferment. Mmmmm.

    2. That condo is worth a pretty penny. 1,300 sq ft, washer/dryer in unit, hardwood floors, jacuzzi in the rear yard. $700k range.

    3. Heard there's a justice turnover thaw hitting TheDowntown Bank. Thousands of greenback zimmertinis under escort by the Hudson County Sheriff's Office to the Godfather of cross-x-amination.

It's not smart to mess with the Godfather.

    4. Ah yes, Turnover... I hear the Hudson County Sherriff has a load of frosty Benjamins to pick up downtown and deliver.

  4. I can't wait until the time when it's safe for everyone here to stop speaking in code. I'm not clued in enough to get all the coded hints being dropped, although I have an idea that whatever it is, it ain't good for the Toxic Twins, and perhaps also their enablers. I so look forward to the story being told someday, hopefully soon.

On the bright side, it's not a 5th floor walk up or over looking a municipal DPW garage or a mural of a mushroom cloud.
