congrats to the winners but now realize you need to get to work to fix hoboken because it is somewhat broken...start by please incorporating into your budget money for pedestrian safety...a big priority for parents with kids. thank you for reading.
Bwaaa haha haaa! Now the idiot couple gets to report their receipts and expenditures to the Election Law Enforcement Commission! And, if the idiot couple does not do a passable job of reporting HOW they paid for the Carmelo smearfest, then several dozen (or more, possibly thousands of) Hoboken residents will be delighted to file complaints with ELEC for which Mr. and Mrs. Idiot will owe exorbitant fines.
I do believe a line is forming of those wishing to report the idiot couple to ELEC... take a number, please!
At last we agree on something. You asked a question, you got your answer. Now take your race-baiting used car salesman act and beat it. Take Beth, finboy, the Keims and fellow sanctimonious twit Chris Campos with you.
Walking down 1st St this morning in front of Marion Towers, campaign placard of Occipinti with dog dirt smeared on each picture of his face- stay classy old Hoboken!!!
What is interesting about this election is this was the low vote election as there was no election for president, governor, etc and reform still won a significant chunk. This means the voter base has changed in hoboken and that now all elections can be won by reform and the Russo family monopoly is dead! A great day for hoboken and in essence the old guard realize they already lost the next election.
They took 2 of 3 BOE seats. Money is money as long as it ends up in their pockets. They don't care if it comes from the municipal government or the schools. I agree it was a great night and a watershed for the Russos, Romano and the rest. But they are far from done looking for ways to get something for nothing. It's all they know.
I give Al Sullivan two months before he starts writing about rumors of Carmelo's at-large council seat run and how Bhalla/Doyle/Mello (pick one) is "considered vulnerable". This week's Sully column, of course, will be entirely devoted to Ruben Ramos' roaring comeback victory and how it sets him up to oppose Romano in the next mayoral election.
A near-sweep for reform council candidates and a clear referendum on Mayor Zimmer's strength and popularity? Nah, Sully's insiders have told him there's no need to cover that story.
Haven't heard anything from Phony lately or any of his various avatars. Our condolences to the pro-developer contingent. Hey, at least Ruben got in. Hope he thanked you.
who on earth would every hire barracato to run their campaign anymore? when was the last time he won anything? campaigns, SLAPP suit...all huge, highly visible losses that can be blamed on his lack of strategic skills. i guess he doesn't care as long as he gets paid, but you would think the OG isn't so stupid as to keep repeating the failures of the past. on second thought...carry on!
Does Monarch Man now go crawling back to Pupie, all "c'mon baby, give me one mo' chance"?? Seems like he needs Frank's harvesting to win, maybe he's the new Timmy.
I cannot wait to see beth mason and give her a big goofy smile...and then turn to my children and say see that old lady there....she tried to ruin hoboken but failed and got her butt kicked out of politics.
Too bad Madigan won by what is most likely illegal vote harvesting through VBM's. I sincerely hope the County investigates as he appears to be, through his own actions, one sick MOFO. Roll tape and see for yourself!
Great news. Finally, "it's been cleared up". Terry is out, good riddance.
ReplyDeleteYES !

DeleteI'm hearing Defusco won by 82 votes!
ReplyDeleteHow do we thank Beth, the idiot couple with the PAC and FinBoy for bringing that magic touch over to Carmelo's campaign? They are on quite the streak

Dear Barracato, Mason, Garcia: SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a landslide! Hoboken has spoken and really likes MAYOR Dawn Zimmer and her spouse supporting her!
ReplyDeleteThis was a referundum on Mayor Zimmer. At least that's what a lot of Old Guard types kept telling me.
Now what do they have to say? Carmelo needs a new government job. Other than that what else is there to say?
Carmelo call's this his "defining moment."

Much like what some have said of old Al the Hoboken Reporter building is up for sale.

ReplyDeleteBeth (and her people) seem to have the opposite of the Midas touch. Hoboken is lucky for that!
