Gandhi & Me: Killer Combo

Mahatma Gandhi opens Carmelo's campaign mail over a Happy Meal

Folks, you may know it would be unethical for Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia to use NJ state monies for his local campaign, Carmelo for Hoboken Council.

For example, it would be improper for Carmelo Garcia to abuse his office (and the NJ taxpayer) by posting his "Carmelo for Hoboken Council" campaign mail in "Carmelo Garcia, Assemblyman 33rd District" envelopes.  Right?

Maybe that's why Carmelo Garcia posted his campaign letters from the Office of 1st Legislative district Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi...

Does Fiocchi know about this?

Did Fiocchi give Carmelo Garcia permission to post Hoboken campaign mail from his Assembly office?     Where is New Jersey's 1st Legislative District?

Why is Carmelo Garcia sending campaign mail from the Office of the 1st Legislative District?

Does Sam Fiocchi have ANY idea HIS NAME and OFFICE are on Carmelo Garcia campaign mail going to hundreds (or thousands) of Hoboken's 6th Ward residents?

Here's the letter the Office of Assemblyman Fiocchi sent to Hoboken residents:

GA is on the hunt for one of the birthday cards Garcia has been sending to 6th Ward residents. If you have one, please send to: grafixavenger666@gmail.com.

In honor of that animal-loving Killer Combo, Mahatma Gandhi and Carmelo Garcia, here's my cat, Ruby wearing an origami samurai hat.

  1. How did such an unethical guy ever get elected? The man may be following the "letter" of the law but he sure as hell is violating the spirit of the law. In my opinion, this is just further evidence he is completely unsuitable for public office.

  2. Fiocchi is a Republican. There's no endorsement for Carmelo in there from him. Most likely Garcia snuck into the guy's office and 'borrowed' a box of envelopes.

    1. This is not the same kind of theft as taking appliances out the back door from the Hoboken Housing Authority and selling them down the road in Jersey City.

It wouldn't be "a box" of prepaid taxpayer envelopes stolen from Mr. Fiocchi. It's more like massive mail fraud we're looking at here.

Great catch GA. I think you need to turn over all this evidence to the Feds in Newark. There are subpoenas already with the FBI related to the great job Mister Carmelo did in the housing authority.

This falls into the category of massive mail fraud and needs to be turned over to the Federal investigation.

      Bye bye Carmelo!

    2. In my opinion it depends on Assemblyman Fiocchi, whether or not he authorized Garcia to post local campaign mail from his office. I believe he would need to weigh in.

    4. Garcia is making the misrepresentation that this Legislator is endorsing him in the Hoboken election, which is false.

  3. Not a chance the south jersey Assemblyman authorized it. This is serious.

  4. Can you maybe get a statement from the 1st district assemblyman on his largess toward the Garcia council campaign.

Has anyone not living in the 6th ward received it? That would indicate what is already obvious - this is campaign literature. It should, for example, be up in the Heights as well. Is it?

  6. PHONE NUMBERS: (856) 457-5504 (Vineland)
    (609) 536-2058

Office says that they have been notified and contacted Garcia's office. Accordingly: "apparently there was an envelope mishap and carmelo's assembly staff was unaware that they were sending out the information with the republican assms addressed envelopes. Garcia's office will correct the issues moving forward.

Once again, your state tax dollars hard at work.

    1. Who are Garcia's staffers again? Campos, Waiters, Calichio perhaps?

How do you not notice the giant return address section with someone else's name?

    4. Carmelo's staff was "unaware?" More like the lame duck wasn't allowed to order more stationary so he scammed a box of envelopes from somewhere else.

    5. More like, carmelo wanted to get a republican to endorse him against against another fellow repub. Carmelo is a snake. Always has been, always will be.
