I sat with him in May or June. Hoboken mourns the passing of an institution. Had my first slice there in 1976. RIP Benny. Sincere condolences to Eddie, Armin and the whole family.
Whoa, GA. WTF? Benny Tudino is a good guy? Stick the Slick and Tony Soares are singing his praises? He was much "loved"? Have these two douche bags lost their minds? This guy was a violent federal felon who was part of a notoriously vicious Albanian drug gang. He served 11 years of a 20 year sentence for dealing HEROIN, GA. I wonder if all of the parents , brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, friend, cousins, aunts, uncles and others whose loved ones overdosed on the shit that he was pushing think that good ole Benny was a stand up kind of guy. Do you think that they believe that he paid his debt to society? I don't. And why was he never deported back to Albania once he got out early? Smell a RAT? Maybe Tony and Stick can go place flowers on all those graves. Pieces of garbage. Instead of eulogizing him we should be mourning the scores of the departed for whose death the "much loved" turd was responsible. BTW, did you know that the prosecutor and judge in the case had bounties put on their heads by Benny's crew? GA, this was a vile group of hardened criminals he hung out with. Check the NY Times for the details. Sorry, but this drivel that was posted, and the idiotic comments, make me sick.
It seem to me that both Tony Soares and Anthony Romano have always been able to overlook the criminal background of people they think can be useful to them.
Gotta agree with anon@7:02, was meaning to post something about it but for some reason couldn't via my smartphone. "Benny" was part of a particularly violent gang, Albanian mob that threatened to kill judges. How can Tony, Stick and others overlook trafficking hard drugs, and the toll it takes on families and the community. Pretty sad,
BTW, here's the Times article: http://www.nytimes.com/1985/03/14/nyregion/the-city-head-of-drug-ring-gets-life-in-prison.html
Gee, a lot of ball less Anonymous posts... gee someone is really afraid of Stick who hasn't even posted here, but not upset Tudino is honored in his very own post by GA herself who is offering praise. Seems somebody's puppet master is really foaming at the mouth at the impending doom coming to the family having to go back on Private health plans.
I made the post @ September 7, 2015 at 7:02 PM. WTF does anything I said have to do with anyone being afraid of Tony or Stick, other than they are douche bags for extolling the memory of a heroin dealing felon who should have been deported. IMO. WTF does private health plans have to do with anything?
I have a good friend whose son is in his mid-20s and addicted to heroin. White collar, upper middle class family with a son who is likely going to kill himself via overdose because no amount of rehab can fix his problem. This kid has been in and out of rehab for 7 years. My friend and her family are literally falling apart: her daughter has transferred out of state to a college that keeps her away from the drama and her husband is distant/ignoring the issue in the hopes it goes away.
Heroin is a terrible drug that destroys lives. Anyone dealing it or part of drug cartel that does deal it is a horrible human being.
Sadly another bit of old ( but also much loved by new ) Hoboken goes away. Condolences to the Drishti family
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Benny was part of the Tudino experience- going in for your giant slice and seeing him, saying hello.
DeleteMy boys were there the other day they said he wasn't there. Was he sick? What did he pass from?
ReplyDeleteI was told he'd been ailing, but that's all I heard.

ReplyDeleteI just gotta ask. Who is the family that is going back on Private Health plans? I assume you mean Russo but you may not
DeleteHey anon@9:20...I'm anon@8:14, are you talking to me? Can't understand WFT you are trying to say, please clarify.
