The public weighs in on Facebook- UPDATED

Folks, the person who wrote the subject Facebook post has contacted me with a request to take it down; you see, it was posted under a private- not public setting and someone with access sent me the screenshot.

GA respects the person's wishes, and we had a nice exchange- no harm, no foul.

As I told the person, that post resonated with GA because it spoke to the Bajardis' claims of "reputational injury" for which they demanded "permanent injunctive relief." (kaching kaching)   At trial, Lane Bajardi did not produce a single witness to speak to his claim of reputational injury.  Instead he produced what one attorney wrote in his fee application, "a gallery of felons."

Here is what Bajardi produced on his September 3, 2014 certification to the Court, opposing Defendants' Motions ofr Summary Judgment- a claim that Phil Cohen doesnt like me any more because of Ms  Pincus....

Did Phil Cohen ever like Lane Bajardi?  I believe that can be answered with a 2-letter word.

Speaking of damages... remember Lane's diarrhea?   His inflamed intestines? And achy head? You know, the Bajardis' claims for "intentional infliction of emotional distress?"

Here is how it was worded in the Bajardi lawsuit:

Here is Bajardi itemizing his 'evidence' for his "emotional distress" claim in his September 3, 2014 sworn certification:

I wouln't pay a penny for a bucket of Lane Bajardi's diarrhea, much less $2,000,000.

Would you?

See below a Facebook post forwarded by a GA reader.

For the record, I don't know this person, never met him/her and hear that he/she is not a Reformer, nor involved in Hoboken politics, and a sometime critic of Mayor Zimmer.

GA will have more later on the 'historic' Hoboken Reporter article, "Payback."

  1. Excellent Facebook post, kudos to whoever wrote it. Just wish they'd liked to a story with the correct dollar figure, that's more than $276k folks!

The Bajardi's are their own undoing. They may have been egged on by other idiots/unsavory types, but they've got no one but themselves and their inflated. delusional egos to blame.

    1. Lets stop splitting hairs... If it was 26,000 I wouldn't care. Lane Bajardi of #1010WINS LOST. That's what matters.

  2. Oh my - this is still going on? Well I heard about the judgment. I cannot say as I was surprised at how brutally the judge ripped into this tool. And it is a crying shame a smoking gun wasn't found showing who paid for this stupidity. The suit was a complete joke. I only wish I was still living in the NYC area to see the fallout. But I am on the other coast now in perpetually sunny (and rain free) weather living the good life. Please keep Lane, Beth and the rest of that crazy cast of misfits as far from CA as possible.

Yeah, the lawsuit against a dozen Hoboken residents was a joke and a serious attack on the First Amendment. No political operations seems to be working out for Beth Mason these days.

From the docs on the case, looks like the gun is still smoking.

Has anyone seen Beth Mason since she went into hiding after the decision came out?

    2. Hear the senior Jersey Journal folks are blown away by this latest news but they don't cover Hoboken. That's Advanced Media on NJ.com and they don't have full time coverage in Hoboken.

They'll get to it no doubt as it's a huge story. Hate411 is hiding under his bed. Klaussenfluffer, the real one, wants to avoid the blowback on all of Mason's minions.

    3. Auggie Torres has written about the case in the past, so if it doesn't get covered on the JJ/nj.com news section maybe it will be part of Auggie's weekly Political Insider column.

    4. Considering how much of this drama originally played out on Hoboken PATCH and basically killed that site they have been awkwardly silent on the Court verdict crushing the Bajardis.

    5. anon@ 1:55...one reason is probably because the new/current Patch editor is responsible for covering Hoboken, Montclair, The Caldwells, Livingston, Millburn-Short Hills, Verona-Cedar Grove, Belleville-Nutley, Bloomfield, Newark, Maplewood and South Orange (http://patch.com/users/eric.kiefer).

Patch lost a ton of $$ had to reduce staff dramatically.

  5. With all the people who live in Hoboken with media connections this story will continue to get more and more coverage.

I guess Lane Bajardi has to be careful what he says because of his position at 1010 WINS so his wife Kimberly Cardinal-Bajardi has been given the task of pretending to be a victim.

    1. The Toxic Twins just spent the past 2+ years trying to convince a court they were victims. Not only were all Kim's charges dismissed before trial even started and Lane remaining few were also tossed before the trial went to jury, but the judge later correctly said they had no evidence of any damages or injury.

They have got to be thick as a brick to keep flogging that "victim" dead horse, who the hell is advising them?? Or is this their own dumb idea? The lengths that delusional egomaniacs will go to is unreal. GIVE. UP. (and, um, pay up).

    2. Kimmy has always played the victim, ask any of her victims.
But Karma is a bigger bitch.

  6. You just know that if the tables were turned and they won the case, Lane and Kim would right now be putting a full-court press on a proactive PR effort to push this news out to every media outlet in the area.

Doesn't Biancamano work at MSNBC? Here's his chance to get even with Lane for referring to him as "sandwich head".

  7. Isn't Wachtell located in the same building as CBS? Have they ever represented CBS?
