The Bounds of Ethical Journalism

This is fair comment, protected FREE SPEECH

Since when is the Plaintiff of a dismissed lawsuit called a "victim" and dismissed Defendants called "antagonists"?

Meet The Hoboken Reporter.  When do such DELIBERATE mis-characterizations published by the press cross the line to libel?

That's what I want to know.

  3. Just to repeat....

You'd do well to think of the Hoboken Reporter as the new Hoboken 411.

Are they are completely driven by a political agenda? Check.

Is Beth the beneficiary of the agenda? Check.

Will they put your posts in moderation if they trigger a political switch? Check.

Should you consider your logon information unsafe and prone to being shared with others for political reasons? Check.

  4. I find it really odd that the Hudson Distorter generates so few comments on its website. Are they deleting posts or just not getting the traffic?

  7. The Hudson Reporter is like the AOL of News sites. What a crappy format ... they are nothing but a propaganda rag for anyone who pays up

  8. GA, thought you'd appreciate this, what a joke: "Editor-in-Chief Caren Matzner said, “All of the awards, whether for art, advertising, or writing, are evidence of the staff's talent, hard work, and dedication to the public service of educating readers about what’s going on around them. We’re particularly proud when we win awards for the investigative stories, as we became journalists to get past the spin to find the root of the truth, and it takes a lot of time to get the right documentation despite all the roadblocks put in front of us.”
