Earwitness: "She disguises payments to political workers as construction work, odd jobs..."

Wow!  According to an Earwitness:
She avoids ELEC reporting for campaign work by paying political operatives straight from her wallet for duties that have nothing to do with political work.  That's how she disguises the flow of money to political operatives and her campaign. She'll pay political workers for painting, or carpentry work or some kind of odd job that they don't really do.  That's one of the ways she pays people who work on her campaigns.
"One of the ways."  Hmmmm.

  1. Who is this unnamed politician you're referencing? I read somewhere that one particular Hoboken councilperson is being investigated by ELEC and potentially faces millions in fines for campaign contribution violations, wonder if there is any connection between the two.

  4. Someone told me they once saw Matt Calicchio at Del Finos pizza getting a few slices and a soda. He whipped out a wad and made a show for the other patrons of being hardpressed to find a small enough bill to pay his tab.

  7. Oh, you forgot one other popular trick- where you lend money to one of your operatives and then wait until the 2 year of statute of limitations is up; knowing debts can't be collected after 2 years.
