Beth Mason Eyeing U.S. Senate Run

Hoboken Councilwoman Beth Mason attends NJ Senator Frank Lautenberg's funeral in New York City.

HOBOKEN-- Wealthy Democratic activist Beth Mason is weighing a run to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated after the death of Frank Lautenberg, Grafix Avenger has learned.

Mason, a Hoboken Councilwoman and one of the state’s most prolific donors, has been reaching out to leading Democrats expressing interest in the seat, reportedly on a Death Watch for Lautenberg since his 86th birthday.  A witness at that birthday party said, "Mason swapped  his birthday candles for the kind that don't blow out.  The Senator huffed and puffed, and I heard her whispering 'C'mon, c'mon..."

According to two sources familiar with Mason’s thinking who requested anonymity because they are not authorized to talk about internal deliberations, Mason wanted to make sure Lautenberg was dead before she declared her run for his seat.  They quoted her as saying, "I don't care if he's still warm."

At his funeral yesterday, Mason was seen climbing into his coffin to check Lautenberg's pulse.

"He's stiff as a board!" Mason was heard to shriek in New York City's Park Avenue Synagogue.  Then her companion, a squat dumpy-looking man who would only give his name as "James" handed out glossy fliers to the mourners that read "Beth Mason for U.S. Senate."  The slogan for her campaign appears to be "I'm Rich"

Mason was then seen elbowing weeping mourners out of the way to get close to Hillary Clinton and Vice President Biden.

"Remember, me!  I gave you  money!" Mason giggled as security escorted her out to the street.

As the coffin was carried out of the synagogue Mason waved at the pallbearers and was seen dancing in her pink heels.  Witnesses say it was the Charleston.

  1. Oh dear! Mauvais Maçon never calculated that Christie may actually want to appoint a Republican! Now Beth can switch back and forth between faiths and ethnicities, faster than the rest of us can quote a soggy vote-by-mail ballot, but apparently she's not Republican enough, having steeped herself in the corrupt hybrid brand of NJ Democratic politics. BUT - she is delusional enough.

  2. It's Booker, the Hero, Speaker, Yale Grad, Mayor who knows problems of inner cities.......Additionally, the Democratic party in NJ has the most voters and they will turn out for Booker! Make 'book' on Booker!

    1. Let's see... he died on Monday, was buried on Wednesday and she announced on Thursday.

I think she was the first one out of the gate. Yep, that's class.

    2. ah, but technically, the coverage appeared on thursday...which means she (or her operatives) most likely pitched the story to the editor on wednesday!

  4. So as soon as the guy dropped, she and her idiot floperatives were scheming to get her name into play. But I just heard that she has declined, despite several prominent Dems form across the state having reached out to her to run. What a fucking delusional acid brained ring ding wrapped up in a yodel stuffed in a Yoohoo bottle. NAME THEM YOU LYING SACK OF SHIT!!!!! I cant wait for the next press release from the floperatives where they admit that Betty Boopless was just listening to those tiny little voices in her head.

  6. total BS, no one called her to run. the whole purpose of this was two-fold: 1) to counteract the recall news, and 2) so the news coverage of her for the next few months (and her wikipedia page, no doubt) will contain the phrase "mason, who was urged by state democrats to run for senator to fill the spot left by lautenberg, ..."
