Beth Mason Buys Campaign Workers on Craig's List

Q:  What happens when local support for Move Forward is so weak you can't find unpaid campaign volunteers?

A:   You BUY them on Craig's List!  Too funny!

Right HERE (under 'government jobs'): http://newjersey.craigslist.org/gov/3336251786.html

And HERE (under 'customer service' jobs)http://newjersey.craigslist.org/csr/3336261653.html

Hysterical!

GA got this gem from a reader who was tipped off on Facebook:

Yep, two lovely non-resident girls imported by Beth Mason's 'Civic League'!  (Is the Mason Civic League, Inc. still operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit prohibited from participating in political campaigns?)

Fascinating...

Someone mentioned to me yesterday they passed by Mason's gallery and saw Matt Calicchio inside (the door was open).  Calicchio promptly shut the door and pulled down the window shade! What was he hiding?  Stacks of midnight flyers?

One can assume the activities within were not 'kosher' otherwise why hide behind closed doors and window shades?  Have you noticed how secretive that place is?  Always looks shuttered.   Hmmm...

So, as you see floods of non-resident, $10/hour Move Forward 'supporters' in the coming days ask WHO hired them and see what they say.  And we'll be checking those ELECs.

  1. Those poor, gullible people. Hopefully, they'll be paid at the end of each day. When Mason failed to get elected as Mayor - or even make it into the runoff, there were street workers (can we call them "Mason's Street Walkers"?) who practically rioted because they weren't getting paid. Alex Lesiak - he of the street money - had to calm the masses while the Harridan of Hudson Street remained in exile at the Masonic Temple
