Dammit, can't a gal just go on vacation? I have a ton to do this morning.
GA just got word of this and it's just too delicious...
The thin-skinned, not-ready-for-primetime Tim Occhipinti- the elected official who mutters snarky non-sequiturs to his neighbors throughout City Council meetings, who flounced off the dais last meeting because the Petulant Prince couldn't sit for a VOTE (for Greg Lincoln on the HHA), who attacked Dave Mello as "not a real commissioner" during the break because Mello spent Father's Day with his aged dad and not at an HHA bike event, who shows up at the ZBA and interrupts the proceedings because he demands to speak against the attorney's advice, announces the next day's political maneuver on Facebook...
This unqualified nit-wit who washed up on Hoboken's shores in a tidal wave of $40 VBM's is... (drumroll please) sponsoring THIS ordinance next Wednesday:
Horsey, please have at it! The ordinance is a scream- it was read to me over the phone- I couldn't stop laughing. Not only is it unconstitutional, it is lethally stupid, and a masterpiece of irony from THAT source. GA has no time now to look for the document, but Horsey: help yourself to any Timmy graphic you like (with a GA credit, of course!) for MSV.
Feel free to do host an 'art show' if you like!
Tim Occhipinti, gift to bloggers.
Well folks, this 'ordinance' tells me 2 things:
Now, when Timmy introduces this at the next City Council meeting, I'm counting on one of my peeps to call him a WAHHHHHHHHHHH-mbulance! Ha ha ha!
OK, now I REALLY have to go. See you in 2 weeks!
Ask yourself why a Columbus, Ohio based law firm would spend days poring over GA, accessing vintage posts via direct links.... this means someone was sending them the links. Dozens and dozens... old ones... new ones...
WOW!
THEN an 'ordinance' emerges aimed straight at my board seat AND this blog (yawn... same old, same old) sponsored by Tim Occhipinti but clearly NOT written by him.
So who do you think wrote this Ordinance for Timmy? Who paid? Timmy the Tight-wad, famous for saying 'no' to donation requests? Did that cheapskate pay thousands of dollars for this amount of research?
Is this why Mason is not a co-sponsor? If she DOES co-sponsor, does that put her fingerprints all over this 3rd (or 4th) try for my board seat?
How about my friends on the City Council (or anyone speaking in the public portion) ask Timmy AND Mason about it?
THIS explains why GA's been savaged recently by NAME- by Lane Bajardi's wife, Kim Cardinal and Finboy (zimmersbroomstick). No Rice notice required by Patch!
(Pssst... Redrider, this firm is doing research on YOU. Congratulations, I suppose that was a Finboy special request).
Well, now I've really gotta go... too bad i'm going to miss the fireworks. Somebody, please ask about payment for this opp research and who wrote Timmy's ordinance! And somebody cut the video!
Stay safe, be well and a shout-out to my friends at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease Llp!

Well folks, this 'ordinance' tells me 2 things:
- Timmy is an incredibly thin-skinned baby. You never hear 'boo' from the Russos, and they've gotten their lumps on the blogs. Mike Russo doesn't cry like a bitch when he gets slammed. The Russo's and their ilk on the Dark Side get it. This is politics. Russo called it a 'contact sport'. Yep. Petulant Prince Timmy who gets votes delivered to him by invisible hands, who believes he really is special and not a calculated pick by his handlers, cannot handle the cornerstone of American Democracy- the public's right to criticize their elected officials. Nope, Timmy doesn't like the verdict on the blogs, so he wants to LEGISLATE silence. I am so sorry I will be unable to watch this, but I'll be sans internet (and cell phone) where I'm going.
- Timmy's trying to deliver a vacancy on the ZBA. Was it because of this? Or this? Did he promise anyone in particular? Has he received any large donations lately? Who knows! I'll have to put One-Eye on it when I get back. Well Timmy, not only won't your scheme work, it will only subject you to further ridicule, and further cement your rep as a childish, not-ready-for-primetime political lightweight.
Now, when Timmy introduces this at the next City Council meeting, I'm counting on one of my peeps to call him a WAHHHHHHHHHHH-mbulance! Ha ha ha!

XO,
GA
(Updated... it's still today!)
Oh this is a hoot... just watch another dopey Ricky Mason-financed scheme, probably dreamed up by the hapless, serial-failure, Mason operative James Finboy© Barracato- unravel before your very eyes on Grafix Avenger!Ask yourself why a Columbus, Ohio based law firm would spend days poring over GA, accessing vintage posts via direct links.... this means someone was sending them the links. Councilpuppet Occhipinti's ghost-written ordinance isn't worth the paper it's written on since these standards are set by the state, not individual city councils.
ReplyDeleteThe hilarious irony is that if applied to our city council, Occhipinti, Mason, Russo and Castellano would all be removed for non-compliance.
Mason sure does know how to double down on doing stupid and unpopular things. You would think she would have realized that pissing off honest people who don't blog for pay, who don't trade their votes for special favors, jobs or getting hired as a so called street worker purely b/c they don't like her is not a good thing. You would think that a politician who knows they are deeply unpopular would do things that make them popular instead of doing things that make them more disliked. You would think by now Mason would have seen that her backing of a man best known for paying 500 voters 2 elections in a row was a bad idea. You would think she would even realize that her paid political operatives have done nothing but make her look horrible and more disliked. You would think that she might even realize her lack of initiative in taking on unpopular developments like the Monarch project and her lack of backing for things like parks & HOP buses was likewise unpopular. You would think she would even figure out she was on the completely wrong side of things w/ respect to the HUMC sale process. And you would hope that by now Mason would know w/ so many people watching that she can't get away w/ half-truths, deliberate misstatements or playing fast & loose w/ the truth. But every time she has a chance to make a decision, she continues to double down on doing stuff that makes her look bad.
ReplyDeleteSo let's all give her a big salute w/ our middle fingers for her most recent assault on the 1st amendment!
All so true, Redrider. Mason is so politically tone-deaf, hers is an object lesson in how NOT to build a political career. A healthy person would have run for cover or done an about-face a long time ago, but as long as she has people who are willing to feed her narcissistic personality disorder and take advantage of Ricky's money, she'll stay in the game.
