A word from Danielle Miller, Theatre Teacher/ Director:
I selected the musical Footloose for several reasons, the most influential being that I wanted to direct a musical that was energetic and engaging. Because I have a dance background, and also because we have just started a dance club at the high school, I wanted to pick a musical that is also heavily dance-based so that our students could have choreography positions and responsibilities in the musical. I am trying to incorporate as many students in theatrical positions as possible so that they can learn and grow as individual artists. I also feel that it best fits the talent displayed by the students at Hoboken High School.
GA Note: Show your support for these talented kids and come see the show!

  1. Not true. After the old theatre director took her ball and went home, everyone associated with theatre committed mass suicide, and life as we knew it came to an end. It was all over Patch; you must've missed it.

    1. Hmmm... I'll let you know about that, Info.

If the performance I attend is a darkened theatre with an empty stage I'll say it was all just a dream.

    2. You should read Patch whenever you can. A lot of stuff the media doesn't want you to know is in there.

For instance, you probably thought Arrezzo & Destefano were a couple of trough feeders whose main contributions to the city were their own enrichment. Not true. Lane & Kim insist that they are heroic figures singled out for persecution by the mayor for imagined misdeeds.

Why would they keep repeating it if it weren't true?
