All's quiet since since the City Council minority floated this 'proposal' on Patch, courtesy of Mason operative Lane Bajardi, a.k.a. prosbus.
Suspend your disbelief for a moment. Disbelief that this is how Hoboken elected officials conduct our city's business- on internet message boards by pseudonym-wielding 'not-paid-for-friendship' hacks. That they would dare do such horsetrading: allowing the City to pay of our brave HFD men in exchange for adding to the City's payroll. (This 'offer' from 4 officials who blew a $4.5 million dollar hole in Hoboken's budget to FORCE layoffs)
GA calls it extortion. So did Eric Kurta, one of the HMHA volunteers who saved our hospital.
prosbus continued his extortion pitch the very next day- and remember what he is promising: the VOTES of the City Council minority to let B.A. Arch Liston move a budget line item in order to PAY the HFD.

Well, folks. As much as we'd like the F.B.I. to come in before tonight's City Council meeting to remove our problems off the dais, it's not going to happen. So, will they or won't they roll out their 'proposal'?
GA hopes that someone asks the City Council minority members if they dispatched an operative to float this extortion scheme on Patch: new HFD hires in exchange for their VOTES on Resolution 1.
And while you're at it, ask Mike Russo if he knew about Patrick Ricciardi's email interception into his personal Archive and if he ever saw or received one of the intercepted emails... and watch him POP off the dais!
