Dear Mrs. Richard G. Mason:
We can't recall a time when Hoboken politics weren't tainted with cronyism, nepotism and corruption.
We can't recall a time when things ran as they should in our little city without problems and setbacks caused by the greedy and the power-hungry.
We can't recall a time when Hoboken and Hudson County were not national jokes and
We can't recall a time when the corrosive effects of your husband's money, courtesy of Wachtel, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and your craven lust for power didn't create "pathological obstructionism" as one citizen put it
Yes, they really did it last night and not once but twice. The council minority voted to plunge the City of Hoboken into financial chaos- damn the consequences to the residents and city workers. Mason, Russo, Castellano and Occhipinti refused to accept the facts as presented by Director Trasente and chose to ignore and violate NJ State budget law. The letter from the State to remind them of their legal obligations fell on deaf ears. Residents and city employees should be outraged that Mason, Russo, Castellano and Occhipinti are are more interested in the politics of spite than the good of Hoboken.

The fiscal incompetency of the minority was in full force last night.
