Guest Poet: Oracle

PAIR OF DICE LOST

As they postured and rambled
Conspired and gambled

They did grimace and glower
In their blood-lust for power

For their actions collusional
And reactions delusional

May they all soon do time
For their uncovered crime

When after this fall
Let’s be rid of them all

  1. Thank you, Oracle. May I call it poetic justice?

  2. Of course! Thanks for publishing. Poetry will be a nice complement to the songs these folks will be singing...right about now!

  3. Well done, Oracle!

How about music AND lyrics, like the satires Mad Magazine did. (One of my all-time favorites: "The Sound of Mucus.")

  4. Nice, Oracle! Nothing quite like a little iambic pentameter served up with the latest politics. Let me go get my lute and I'll play along! You're really classing up the joint!

  5. Thanks, Plywood. It's not too hard to out-class the white-trash we're surrounded by.
