Koukou fude o erabazu
Translation: A bad carpenter quarrels with his tools.
Or her tools.
GA learned that proverb in the 4th grade. A lesson all young children should learn. Take responsibility for the work you do and don't blame your poor performance on others.
Governing is like carpentry.
Resolutions must be crafted soundly and completely or fail. That's the responsibility of the legislator- not the laptop that typed it, the printer that printed it, the stapler that stapled it. One who builds it improperly then has a hissy-fit at the furniture, the paintings on the wall and individuals in the office next door because he or she failed to perform their job properly... well, here: こうぼうふでをえらばず.
