Rogue City Council

GA will have a lot more to say on this later.

By 'this'  I mean the unprecedented ABUSE OF POWER by the lawless Russo-Mason 5-headed Hydra in order to CHANGE THE SUBJECT (from Mike Russo caught agreeing to a 5K bribe on FBI tape, published in "The Jersey Sting") and "Take out" the Mayor  (as predicted by GA source, Deep Uvula).

How to do it?

ATTACK  PUBLIC SERVANTS  who work UNDER the Mayor.

Damage their reputations, impact their ability to make a living going forward, GRIND THEM TO POWDER.

Russo called politics "a full-body contact sport".

Juan Melli, Communications Director and Dan Bryan, Mayor's Assistant, are NOT politicians, they are NOT elected officials, they do NOT  make Executive decisions, they work under the DIRECTION of the Mayor.

They are merely PUBLIC SERVANTS.

But these ROGUES- Russo and Mason,  are demanding EMAIL communications, under some bullshit pretext to  muddy up the conversation about Russo's meeting with Solomon Dwek, and Mason's floundering performance as City Council President.

Floundering.  The woman cut off a meeting before the police contract was voted on because she was too lazy to read the agenda and didn't want to stay up late to do The People's business. And allowed her dim-witted operatives, James Barracato and Lane Bajardi, to dump that police incident report on the internet.

So BOTH Russo and Mason need a subject-changer, desperately.

This is exactly what GA's informant, Deep Uvula, predicted:

The Russos-with Mama Russo calling the shots, Dad helping  with strategy, and Junior- are planning a huge counter-offensive, going to the troops and old guard... they are reaching down to the "bottom of the barrel" to stop the damage and plan to "take out the mayor and Reform"... because if Mike goes down, the rest are going to fall.

These rogues cannot get away with this abuse of their elected office.

Hoboken citizens MUST speak up and say "ENOUGH". Because ANY of us are expendable if we get in THEIR way.  Any of us.

That means YOU.

Remember these famous words by Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984).

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

In the spirit of those words, we MUST speak up for our public servants who are being PERSECUTED by a  ROGUE City Council majority.

And for you, Mike Russo, did you see this?

Your 'friend' Mason is circulating this in the 2nd Ward... she's ATTACKING your FATHER on his "city-paid medical benefits".

Funny, she didn't do that to your face at the City Council.

Why don't ask her about it at the next meeting?

Flier provided by a 2nd Ward resident, who received it on March 30, 2011

Did you condone that?

Did you condone her operaties publishing the police incident report?

How about campaigning the ISSUES and not on the BACKS of  public servants, simply because they work for the Mayor?

  2. This is a fishing expedition by Mason/Russo. It appears that Juan Melli and Dan Bryan are doing too good of a job explaining how good the Zimmer admin is. They want all of Juan and Dan's email. Can you imagine the uproar if Dawn asked the same from Mason/Russo? If there is something specific and they can show good cause that would be acceptable. They see the website as a ripoff for taxpayers. How much much was spent on Mayor Roberts continual multi page glossy color mailings? Where was the uproar when Camaranno hires Joe Garcia for $125,000? Dan Bryan earns 1/3 as much as Joe. There were also 3 people in the publicity office, including Juan. Dawn fired the other two and replaced them with Juan at a lower cost. Shame on Juan and Dan for their solid public service. Once again Mason/Russo don't understand that they are the legislative branch, not the executive. Can't wait to explain to them all the good things on the city website that have been created. How about asking for Mayor Russo's email (and the family) to see if any broke the law about his illegal benefits? That would be a specific case. So would Michael agreeing to take a bribe and then not acting on it according to the new book "The Jersey Sting". Sounds like deflection to me.

  3. Umm, Ms Mason, I mean this in the best possible way. Maybe it's time for you to stay out of those strategy and writing meetings in your organization, and just do the photo-ops. Case in point: either you are just shooting yourself in the foot with this attack on Mr Russo (which I doubt) or some one told you to distance yourself from him for 80 days in a last-ditch strategy to get re-elected. Either way it's a foolish gambit. Here's some free advice: just don't mention Mr Russo. But too late for this Monday morning quarterback's take on the sitch, you've already ticked Mr Russo off. You're so silly sometimes.

  4. You got Russo all wrong. He's not about "fighting hate with hate." He's all about "fighting hate with love."

Love, character assassination, subterfuge, deflection, censorship, bullying, cronyism, grandstanding, divisiveness, and fixing elections.

Read about the "love" right right here.

  5. I'm not sure if I'm in a good place with Mr Russo's obsession with coming on to us. He's a married man!

  6. Hah, 'fishing expedition' is right. Guess they have been reading the papers in the midwest how the Republicans are FOIA-ing the e-mails of some professor they don't like.
I guess anyone can use 'openness' and transparency as a bludgeon.
