The courts made a feeble attempt to determine the legitimacy of the one-dollar sale and title transfer of the Russo's Belmar home to see if it was done to avoid the debt of the court-ordered payment.
It's time this case was re-opened, the property sold and the funds put into the city's coffers as a good start. Forcing the Russos to leave subsidized housing would be a nice finish and greatly improve the neighborhood.
We need means-testing in those buildings so that the police, firefighters, teachers and nurses they were built for can live there, not free-loading felons!
